  1. 18 months actually! :p Not a new C-Class, 2014 model.
  2. Ah! Thanks too - I'm getting a C-Class soon!
  3. Taurus!! The Taunus was a rebadged MK4 Cortina!
  4. You want something that's refined Si. Too little baffle and they'll sound raspy and will annoy the hell out of you. Infinity are good, there was a guy in at Jim's who wanted his original system replaced with something that looked similar and to be very quiet. What was given back looked and sounded great. Slightly larger than stock with a slight burble, so they can create pretty much whatever you want.
  5. Mike's out of action at the moment.
  6. Some usual shit you see on Z Adverts: 'Immaculate' and 'rust' in the same sentence.....really!? ****ing really!?!? Not fukkin' mint then is it twuntwaffle!
  7. Ran it into the ground!
  8. Moustaches rock! So glad I refitted mine! I've had my 3/4 sized plate on for over a decade now and I've never had any issues with it, be it police, MOT or otherwise.
  9. I've driven a Corvette Z07 down the runway at Miramar Air Base near San Diego where that was filmed. It sure felt bad-ass!
  10. Haha! That's my shop selling gimp suits, whips and chains. There's a basement too, visit it!
  11. These are the fronts: Bear in mind that my wheels are 19", they don't look small, they fit quite nicely.
  12. It's only the rears that are the same size. The piston in the rear calipers is larger than the stock. It's not essential you do it, but if I'm doing a brake upgrade, I want the calipers to match. Fronts are much bigger.
  13. Rears are almost the same as the stock Z32 calipers discs and the fronts are within about 1mm the width of the fronts, diameter is the same as the 350z Brembos. The beautiful is that unlike the 350z rear Brembos, the GTR rear Brembos bolt straight on. It's a great little OEM style upgrade IMO. Here's the rears on mine, bolted straight on.
  14. This is why the most straightforward brake upgrade is the R32 V-Spec/R33/R34 GTR Brembo calipers (all round). :) Everything bolts on, no drilling required, nothing. Just some light manipulation of the brake lines and removal of the front disk grit guard.
  15. I run 19s and didn't notice any difference than when I was running 18s. Depending on how wide you go will depend on what offset you need. I'll give examples of common widths and offsets appropriate to fit without work. FRONT 8.5" @ +25 9" @ +35 REAR 9.5" @ +35 10" @ +38
  16. The specs you've given, are you suggesting 18s at the front and 19s at the rear or are these 2 different wheel setups you're using? Fitting Brembos and their associated discs won't change the offset, you will have to be mindful of the design of the spoke however. The specs you've given will require a bit of arch work, a 9.5 @ +25 will fit the front with some light wing work and arch liner trimmage/fettling. They'll squeeze on the rears with some stretched tyres or a light roll of the arch lip. The 9.5 @ +12 will require extensive rolling front and rear.
  17. Looking forward to seeing the results on one of my favourite cars on the forum! :)
  18. I remember seeing one of those for the first time driving toward me and couldn't get over how ugly the front end was. Awesome sounding car, but it has the face only a mother could love. Since Ferrari did away with pop-up headlights, they never seem to have been able to design a car that I find visually appealing.
  19. Not really actually. You know the car I was think of? It wasn't yours actually! Ha I always think of shorties and its the proportions on those it throws off. Most don't fit the right wheels. Yours has a collection of stuff that suits, especially those wheels. Just get the bodywork all painted Howard! lol
  20. I was the first person to do a complete glass transplant and it's one of the best things I did. Makes the car look a lot cleaner and fresh looking than the cigarette stained look of the bronze tint found on most import cars. It's not one of those things that sticks out, but it lifts the whole car in a very subtle way.
  21. That orange turd that Alic posted is an old Iber Designs kit - it always used to sit as the very first image when viewing '300zx' in google! Thankfully it no longer does and the orange one (I've seen before) is the first and only Z I have seen with this kit on. Hewn from a solid lump of MDF, it looks like a staircase that's been converted into a car.
  22. Not a fan personally. The Strosek ones are probably the least favourite of the popular kits, some of the metal fabricated ones look nice, the blue one Rich posted the previous page works well, but generally they don't, they completely throw the balance off unless ultra subtle. Don't even get me started on ****ing Rocket Bunny kits!!!!
  23. Does the noise only happen when you're steering? Does it happen when you're not moving?
