  1. My degree was in design and animation so I have made a few short films in the past :) it depends what kind of stuff you want to have a go at, but it is a lonnnnng road. If you have any questions give me a shout :) I have quite a lot of experience with 3d cg animation, modelling, stop frame, after effects, flash and matte painting/story boarding etc
  2. Beeeeeautiful!! Good work
  3. Oh wow can't wait to hear this!! Lots of vids please!
  4. Very nice!! Really bring the car up to date having a neat interior. How much does it cost for a retro mug you don't mind me asking?
  5. Bad luck mate - I don't think there is anything you can do though, complaining to eBay or not... PayPal has strict policy to ensure buyers are protected and it work very well to protect against fraudulent sellers, but equally relies on the seller using tracked postage for them to not be ripped off. I used to run a small eBay shop posting around 20 items a day and would get at least a couple per week saying the items went missing. I can't believe there are that many theif buyers, but can believe there are gaps in the Royal Mail which will lose parcels all the time. As frustrating as it is I think you will have to trustable buyer, and just never post non recorded unless you are willing to take that risk. Best regards, William
  6. Oh so sorry to hear that, must have been awful. I am thankful he was gone and it was quick at least, it would have been hell if he was only injured.
  7. Again thanks for the words guys, it was exactly that - they get dozy in old age and jus stop being aware of the cars. Slowly coming to terms with it. He will e a dearly missed part of the family.
  8. Thanks for the words guys, I know it was just a horrible accident and he did have a good much loved life, and this year he was given lost of treats too as he was so old.
  9. Just wanted to pass on respects to my cat Jess, he was 19yrs old and I had had him since I was 6... he was pretty slow and old but was always so loving and affectionate. He had become quite ditty and would sit behind the cars as they were reversing etc, tonight while driving down the drive next to the house he must have walked out from a bush just as out of sight... my front wheel got him.... Poor poor bugger, I think it was quick for him at least but I am really devastated. He was one of the family. To lose him I knew was going to be bad and upsetting eventually, but for it to be on my hands.... unbearable. http://williamschestnutts.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/1239624_10151907418364540_462800240_n.jpg?w=497 And althoguh i wasn't going fast or anything it has really brought home how devastating cars and accidents can be to lives.... Drive save all. Peace
  10. I think they are, i have seen Scooby ones advertised for 300zx before.
  11. That would be a bit of a result 2 and a half years later!
  12. If you want to sell the sub FunkySi I am looking for one.... Best, W
  13. I had that on a Jeep, ran perfectly apart from that... It was the Crank position sensor was on its way out.
  14. yeah thats what I was thinking, mine is getting low on front and desperate on the rear... are these pads from or rear? - - - Updated - - - also is it confirmed that these aren't for teh Z31?... the previous Gen pads are always very cheap.
  15. hmmmmm..... Has anyone actually tried these?
  16. I would be wary of this car... It was for sale about 8 months ago on ebay. The seller was someone who could barely speak a word of english (I struggled to get any questions answered, and had to call a guy in Pakistan or somewhere like that...). It had recently had a respray and looked clean but the mileage was high and the gearbox was pretty worn out. At the time it was advertised for a reasonable price given the mileage I guess, £1200 i think if I remember right. I was tempted as it was before I bought my baby, but quickly thought better of it after investigating. - - - Updated - - - ...also, 390Bhp on a 140K engine?.. No thanks.
  17. Just thought I would say again... She is running absolutely beautifully! :) So happy
  18. Sounds like a decent price.. I will be on the list for one of them too at some point!
  19. Thanks Mark, It wasn't myself there as I have work every day but i paid my bro to drive it up :) No worries about the wheels, haha thanks for the offer though, very kind. Thanks for your time on it if you worked on it! It is SO nice to have a smooth engine again.
  20. .. So for a final update... After I thought the initial vac leak had been fixed (corroded recirculation pipe) it turned out that it STILL had a vac leak and the recirc valve was rotting away and replacing taht fixed the rough idle and missfires!!! 5* for Jeff from ZedWorld, great chap, many thanks!! :)
