BREMBOs fitted and show marked improvement....56Kers Beware...lol
I did a Brands Hatch track day on the Indy circuit and totally sha**ed my standard brakes ! I was braking as late as I could from about 120 on the start/finish straight - really standing on them (I think my ABS went AWOL) and eventually they gave up the ghost on me - mind you it was fan-f**king-tastic !! The opportunity to drive our cars somewhere you can really exploit the performance should not be passed up ! I've now got fully adjustable coil-overs, strut brace, fully adjustable arms, track rods and torsion bars front and rear and importantly GTR33 Brembos on the front and fat rubber all round in perparation for the next time I try it (this year hopefully). It was such a fantastic experience I really can't recommend it highly enough guys. Mark

350z Manual Gearbox In a 300zx?
I believe HKS do a 6-speed box for the Z32......I remember seeing it in a catalogue I got from Japan that I gave to Luke at Z Centre. I think it was about $4,500. And I'm pretty sure I've seen a 6 ratio gear set for our box as a conversion on my travels through cyberspace but can't remember where....... Mark

Anyone with a manual conversion (done)
My insurers - Admiral - told me that it would raise the group from 20 to 39 !! And of course the premium accordingly. I argued that there was no such insurance group but they said for modifications there was - told them to get stuffed and would insure it with a company that had experience of this kind of thing. So they said....."On this occassion we'll keep it the same.....blah blah" I will be insuring it elsewhere when it's back on the road. Good luck. Mark Oh by the way it's a HUGE improvement over the auto - except when stuck in traffic :-)

Nissan Terrano II door handle assembly in a Zed...
I never thought about it that way but it's obvious of course :-) In that case I wonder what other cars are using 300 parts ? Was the basic engine used anywhere else ? Or the rest of the drivetrain maybe ?

Nissan Terrano II door handle assembly in a Zed...
Just our of interest what else is a common part ? So that's: door handles (interior) headlights (Lambo) I guess Nissan is the same as most other manufacturers in that they raid the parts bin......... Mark

He may well be good with cars but he obviously has one of those fairground hall-of-mirrors in his bathroom ! Asymetrical hair ?? WTF?? I thought that died with the Human League !! And what's with all the 'street talk' ? Those shows would be bearable if they could at least speak properly !! It's like watching a chimps tea party with all the hand waving ! I watch Tim Westwood and truly wonder if his act isn't just one HUGE p*ss-take ! Sorry.....rant over......

no lambo
Thers's one of those in a garage round the corner from here with no engine/box or interior......but the body does look great ! In white ! Good luck with it !

Doctor doctor.....
This bloke goes to see his Doctor one day....... "How can I help ?" says the GP "I feel like a moth" says the man "You feel like a moth ! You should be seeing a psychologist not your GP" says the Doctor "I was on my way to see him but your light was on"

Are all BMW drivers this DUMB?
Is that what you might call 'doing a Brian Harvey' ?

New Norris Designs Evo....
It says that they cut the bodyshell into three pieces and then cut and modified before puttiing back together......so it's a cut-n-shut !! Surely the integrity of the monocoque construction must be compromised ? Welding etc must surely create stress points or points of uneven strength/weakness when compared to the original ? I'm not an engineer so excuse me if I am being ignorant :) And if a SWB Evo 9 or whatever it is was such a good idea then surely Mitsubishi would have made one ? After all Nissan did a SWB Z32 ! The whole purpose of the Evo is as a rally weapon so I'm sure Mitsubishi's engineers must have already worked out the best/optimum floorplan, wheelbase etc ? Mark

Bloody thing keeps stalling......
I haven't got them...... I will check all my hoses over the weekend.....thanks for the advice. What should it tick-over at when warm ? Mine tends to hunt around a bit....sometimes up at 1500 and sometimes 500 - when it doesn't stall that is !!!

Phew it's not just mine thats been messing about ! First time it's really rained since I fitted it - not a good sign for the winter ! I was reading another thread that seemed to suggest the PTU could be responsible and I was thinking 'sh*t more money out the window !'
