HICAS help please
I am pretty sure they are the same. You don't necessarily need the rod? Just the bush. I got mine from mjp I think, ~£40.

Car spec and price enquiry
A pre 94 zed can legally run without a cat iirc, that'd be a slight performance advantage to consider.

Car spec and price enquiry
Hello Alek. Have a read round this forum mate. There is FAQ style info here, but also someone will be along in a minute to link up some helpfull stuff for you. You are after a very desirable car. You could get a great manual TT for 4 to 6 grand. A white one... late model :-/ could ve a long wait or top price. If you buy one in open forum here people will speak their mind either "thats a good price" or whatever. Plus you will get a sound car and some history and support. :clover:

Nissan Experience 2015
I've done... 4 track days. All of them the car was scrutineered, everyone had to wear a proper helmet (and have long sleeves on I think).

Spitfire lands with no wheels down!
Yeah it was Gary, the two drivers were not long away from doing some really tasty stuff in Afghanistan in Chinooks and were about to scream into the landing site. I brought it all to a high hover to remind them, we're not getting shot at, lets take it slow. A bit of "left a bit, right a bit..." later we landed, thinking it was 10 foot all round. While the winchman got the casualty I had a quick run round. On the right hand side it was 3 feet. That was one way to get your eye in for confined areas!

Spitfire lands with no wheels down!
Notice how the prop blades instantly disappear! If anyone is watching something like that in the future, make sure you're behind a thick bit of glass. I know a winch operator who had a tip strike against a cliff and a bit of blade cut his arm open and a bit of slate nearly took the pilots eyes out cutting his head. Last time... well... one of the last times I was very close to tip striking I saw myself put a visor down, as if that would do a great deal! A picture that was sent to me after the event, that was no more than 6 feet from any part of the disc and tail to buildings and trees. - - - Updated - - - Notice how the prop blades instantly disappear! boost gauge set up
It's a mechanical gauge isn't it, so that line going up in the pic goes into the cabin. It could be pinched or whatever. Nothing looks wrong to me if they are all securely on their fittings.

boost gauge set up
I agree with Si about cleaning it by hand but I reckon there are 2 options open to you. 1) Clean it gently, a bit, with a toothbrush. 2) Clean it thoroughly with a credit card to hand to buy loads of new sensors, connectors and hoses. I would plan ahead to get stuck in one day with loads of new hose and stuff, you will fix some little leaks, future proof the rest of it, and learn a thing or two about the vac system along the way.

What did you do to your zed today?
Great stuff mate. Car looks lovely :thumbup1:

boost gauge set up
Putting some pictures up might help. It would be really really flat at 3psi so you'd know if it was that low. Both turbos produce 9+ psi you're bot getting half a reading. Have you got a leak between the bar and the new gauge? Is the pipework too large? Have you teated the aftermarket boost gauge? What brand is it? Hope some of this helps.

I like that front bumper and the skirts, ironically I think your airflow will be hampered by your numberplate. Stick on plate?

Slipping clutch, which one next?
I bought the pair of xtd items. The clutch went straight in the bin but I thought, a flywheel is a flywheel. It may be out of ballance I dont know, but it doesn't judder or squeak. It has done a good 10'000 miles and it hasn't wobbled my crankshaft off anything. I nevee had it checked by engineers but I hope it's fine.

could do with a little help please
