Help, MOT fail
I don't know, there has to be something that can temporarily do that. Did the garage suggest anything? Try calling a few other local garages. Red ex a run out and a higher base idle or something but I really dont know. Good luck mate :clover:

Engine replacement
There are a few places that could help you. Check the traders section. Yes you can swap autos and manuals but there are differences, turbos, cams, probably the ecu. My personal opinion is if you possibly can, rebuild your own stuff or buy new, I follow a "better the devil you know" build mentality. Either way, good luck mate :clover:

interior
Oh! Is that what Alcantara is  thought it was a bit rich. P.s. HICAS is wired onto a switch and is off 90% of the time. It works fine.
-
interior
? All the Alcantara is clean, as is the dash. But the radio surround looks a bit smudged in that pic, I'll clean it up when I swap the clock for a working one and make a loom of the radio. You lot haven't seen my glove box gauges have you. I have oil temp, boost and my ebc quite neatly in the glove box/engineer's panel :)

What did you do to your zed today?
Well Albert Tyrestein said they won't expand at all with heat, not a single psi, so set all 4 at 32. Turns out it does but hopefully not much, I'd perhaps have gone a bit lower but nevermind. And yeah it has particles in it! He said "Thee divn't gan down either like." And I said, "That's because the Nitrogen molecules are larger and don't make their way through the rubber of the tyres as quickly as those in regular air???" And he said "Nah there's nee molecules in Nitrogen bud."

What did you do to your zed today?
New rear tyres today, after an expensive lesson in keeping track of your tyre pressures on track :headvswall: I ran the centres totally out of my rear tyres (alarmingly quickly) so I have very chunky looking hankooks on now. And!!! All 4 tyres now have Nitrogen in them, as the salesman said "Ah whey like, its all about the particles like, Nitrogen does ne have ne particles in it like, where your air, whey that does ya see!" Sold

Make my zed look better
It lools really smart mate. A gloss black moustache area rather than flat (dark grey) black would make it a bit sharper. The only place there xan be an improvement is your front bumper, and only an impul would be an improvement, don't go 99 spec on your car, it looks ace.

Interesting setup
Mine was just wedged in! When I came to remove it I spent ages looking for how to release it, went right round it... then just pulled upwards!
-
Interesting setup
He doesn't have a viscous fan either, was the picture taken in siberia!
-
Interesting setup
Imagine if you could somehow put heat sinks or otherwise modify the sections of pipe that sit across the front of the engine, sufficiently to achieve the cooling you need. You would need a scoop or something to force a lot of air through them. like gt40, lotus elise, tvr style through flow of air. a bit out there I spose but so is no intercoolers!
-
Interesting setup
!!! That doesn't have intercoolers! Possibly in a drag car? I spose that's like cementing the block! Fine in 12.5 second 400m bursts!

Leather seat preference
I'll swap a black leather electric drivers seat for a black leather manual drivers seat :) So long as there is the weight difference I think there is.

Japfest Preparatons.
My build is a daily driver at the minute. I'd like to make an event this year but don't know that I will. It drives me to Wattiaham air base and back and no further. Good luck on track Pete, car looks ace :thumbup1:

Hi all...
Good man :thumbup1: I think that a stock zed, is a GT car, they're comfortable, fast but in no way frantic and normally automatic. The one I drove didn't handle that well, I was overwhelming the car quite easilly going over the fells near Alston with a lot of body roll, understeer and bouncy tyre squeal. Mine has been forced into being a sports car. It has worked pretty well, it is now a very quick road car, handles well, drifts well but still has it's manners, it is comfortable, cruises well and has a decent boot. But no 2 zeds are the same. Hope your zed is what you want it to be mate :)

Hi all...
Can you give an unbiased comparison of the 3 rivals there, the GTO the Supra and the Z? I don't mind if the Z doesn't win :)

Anyone seen this........
In fact, I just read it again, what ridiculous pick and mix order is that description written in!

Anyone seen this........
I think that's very strange. "RACING ENGINE!" Then, "Upgrades... metalic paint." I want to ring him and ask what it actually has. I bet the answer is "Errrr... ..."
