Exhaust Fitting
Done and it went great. no ceased bolts, salvaged original metal gaskets, and used RTV silicone, left it 20 mins, and been out for a drive. The difference, is Amazing. its quiet, throttle response is now immediate. no delay in the downshifts, I can now say it would hammer the MK2 Focus RS. The difference is huge. So Pleased. Big thanks to Ian (300ZX_666) for supplying me with the Exhaust. Big recommendations to the Mongoose System for everyone else. Ian I owe you Rep :D

Sorted saturday night :)
I can only think of one thing better! A giant lounge, with sliding doors, to bring the Zed in, so you can sit in it with the beer, and watch the movie lol.

Exhaust Fitting
Going to go out this afternoon and fit the Mongoose Cat Back Quad Tail System, I been out and bought new U Brackets for connecting rear to middle sections. RTV Sealent, and M10 Nuts and Bolts. I dont have gaskets, as I was advised here I could just use the Silicone (could someone confim this?) Also, once the new system is on, and bolted up, how long should I wait for the silicone sealent to set, before starting up the car? Kindest Regards Ryan

300ZX More Economical than 60+mpg DS3 Diesel
Sold the Diesel DS3 which was just 7 months old, So now the Z is our only car. Basically, I work less than a mile from home, so ordered a cycle as a car cant even warm up in that time. Im working in a very cold food enviroment, so even whilst cold outside in the winter, its still warmer outside than in work lol. Have only driven 120 miles in 5 weeks between the two cars - 100 of which were in the Z anyway lol. Some may think Im crazy Selling a car acheiving 60mpg average fuel consumption, keeping the Zed, but I feel Im not really going to save that much by keeping the DS3 over the Z. Managed to get £14,500 for the Citroen which was owned outright, so it has gone into savings towards a deposit for the house. I drive less than 4000 miles a year on average, which is around 75 per week normally So I will be using about £25 a week fuel, Vs £8 a week in the DS. Ok it seems a big difference, but its only £17 a week, vs £14500 price tag. Which would depreciate more than £17 a week. (£2600 over 3 years) So now, which cars more economical? lol

OEM UK Wheels Tyres.
ok, so its said to use: 225 / 50 / 16R on the front 245 / 45 / 16R on rear Is there anywhere I can actually get four tyres the same brand and tread pattern? What does everyone else have on their UK Spec OEMs? Is there any harm having different fronts to rears? The only Two I have found available in both the above sizes is the Bridgestone Potenza S02's Rears: http://www.tyretraders.com/tyreInformation%7CItemID%7CBRI24545R16-ZRS02N3.html Fronts: http://www.tyretraders.com/tyreInformation%7CItemID%7CBRI22550R16ZS02JZ.html Which comes to around £480 for all 4 delivered (Not Fitted) and the Toyo Proxes T1-R's Fronts: http://www.tyrewizard.co.uk/car-tyres-c4/16-c19/toyo-proxes-t1r-225-50-r16-92w-tyre-p1974?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=toyo-proxes-t1r-225-50-r16-92w-tyre-2255016ztoyt1-r&utm_campaign=froogle#1974 Rears: http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/400306553749?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&cbt=y Which comes to around £450 for all 4 delivered (again not fitted) Are there any others around? or is this my only options?

S14 300SX project car update
Now it makes sense lol. Stil cant believe Nissan developed the SR20DET, VG30DETT, RB25DET and RB26DETT at the same time lol Great engineering imo. Would love to see the beast in action when complete. also may have to get some hoses from you soon as one of my top pipes has frayed around the edges.

S14 300SX project car update
I love the S14. I may of missed something, other than your love for Z's why did you put the VG30DETT in there, when it has an SR20DET which is amazing in its own right as standard. Dont get me wrong, but I feel the SR20DET is obviously lighter weight and is heavily tuneable at much lower cost than the VG30DETT conversion plus mods. If it wasnt SR20DET standard, then I get it lol. But otherwise - cant get my head round it. Still, would love to see pics of the engine bay :P

Who is nearest Z specialist to me?
I only use Super Unleaded anyway. Around the houses? We dont have that here lol. No traffic lights or roundabouts. Im out in the country. all A Roads though. Once Exhaust is repaired will expect more tbh, based on the way I drive that is. I used the car to go on 4 x 22 miles trips, each only had 4 Junctions (Stop Start) from door to door. It should be better. I had 2 x Mitsi GTO's, a 420bhp S14, 3 MR2 Tubbies to name a a few over the years, but have never had sub 20mpg, driving in this area, in that manor. When I visit family in Basingstoke, I would only expect 10-12mpg around town, as its constant traffic, roundabouts and traffic lights. If You look here: http://www.fuelly.com/car/nissan/300zx 20mpg is not unrealistic for constant Extra Urban Driving. Infact its reasonable for combined - and thats with average driving, not extra cautious due to wet road conditions.

Who is nearest Z specialist to me?
Hi Rob, Gotta come see you soon, I got your Axel Stands and Trolley Jack. Bit wet at mo lol. Drove to tesco yesterday and back end went round 90 degrees, at no more than 10mph, under 2500 revs, coming out of a junction lol. Luckily it went in the right direction and pulled straight immediately with no agro and I just carried on driving :D Still got to fit exhaust. Was going to do it today in the Barn up the farm out of the rain, but noticed I have a bolt missing on my current one. So need to get some high quality bolts, incase any others sheer of too. Got silicone sealent for the pipe, and new "U" brackets. GT80 in the boot for rubber hangers. Could do with some new gaskets too really.
