Changed my Rear center panel light today.
need to change drivers rear light now. looks much tidier. Strange how one owner from new and he let it get in that state. Not much more to do on it now prior to respray. Just doing a bit at a time. Was hoping to buy an RC car yesterday, but laptop broke and had to go buy another, ended up buying a Galaxy tab 2 aswell. Typical as I not long ago sold a laptop on here lol and yes, I want to keep standard ones too :D

Changed Rear Speakers......
Finally got round to changing the rear speakers today, thanks to some quality pioneer standard fit speakers arriving from MarkDerby Reason for this thread is just to show how much deteriation stuff can have over the life of a car in general. Baring in mind speakers live inside the car, and are "sheltered" from direct sunlight by the speaker covers, check these out. I havent done anything to them to try and make them look this bad, seriously thats how I found them, with lots of dust around them, which I can only explain as the remains of the outter speaker.

Radio Controlled cars.
sounds good, misses at work, will speak to her when she gets home, I think would need bigger battery as I have a husky and its quick, we normally "walk" him on the farm track, with a lead out the window at 20mph+ he can go for hours, he could easily do over 30mph constant, but I darent go that quick with him beside the car :S He chases anything that moves, hence the idea of the buggy.

Radio Controlled cars.

Radio Controlled cars.
ok, so with something like this: http://derbymodelshop.co.uk/shop/article_FTX5532/FTX-Vantage-1_10-4WD-Brushless-Buggy-RTR.html?sessid=TQztftBku6FPb6DMGvmrKiwxuhjLQxUYx0Q9OkhHmcocDXScORGXUGUjD6AXeuM5&shop_param=cid%3D128%26aid%3DFTX5532%26 What sort of speeds would that model reach? Whats charge time, and how much would it be for a couple of spare battries, so I dont run dead after just 15 mins?

Whats the difference between brushed and brushless? Any noticable differences in Electric and Nitro? Is there any that would be good in a field? i.e for me to get the dog to chase lmao. I know they can be expensive, but I think its worth it :D

Ok Cleared codes. fired her up, tick over, reved up a little. turned of, re ran diagnostic, code 55: all fine. not sure whats going on there. Plus you can do the code check without opening up passenger footwell. shorting two pins on the "consult port" starts diagnostics. and the CEL flashed in the same way the ECU leds flash. short them again to stop diagnostics. MUCH quicker and easier. :D Guide I found: Consult Pins (LED and CEL): a. Locate the Nissan CONSULT Connector. It’s a gray connector on the driver’s side right next to the hood pull lever. If you can’t seem to find it, fish around behind the trim piece a little, as it may have popped off its post in the past. b. Using a paperclip, or small wire, jump the connection between pins 8 and 9 on the Consult connector, as shown below: c. Hold the jump for three seconds, then remove the jump. This is essentially the same as turning the potentiometer on the ECU. d. Once the jump is removed, the CEL will start blinking codes. e. Insert the jump again, and hold for three seconds. Then remove it. This will clear all codes. f. Turn the key off, and run codes again to ensure they’re gone.

Just did an ECU code check Came back as: 34: Detonation Sensor Circuit Edit*: Spoken with Jamie at Zedworld. Advised it would be the knock sensor and to place a 1 mega ohm resistor in there somewhere (awaiting instrucions)

woah, that first pink one doesnt actually look that bad. But then Im colour blind, so what do I know! Colin, I have only been on here since Aprils and made thousands of posts, this place is ADDICTIVE. get subbed up mate, the membership pack is better than on most forums, AND, as a member you get a decent insurance price with footman james. Mines £226 a year fully comp, with full european breakdown cover included.

Tailgate
Also the standard rear spoiler, retains water, and adds the majority of weight to the boot lid. (believe it or not)

I have no idea Mark. Not very mechanically minded myself. Normally get friends or garages to do that side for me. Guessing I got to get plenum of to get to plugs. Im hoping to get in for full service inc plugs and belts with Jeff soon though. So should sort a lot out by doing that on its own.

ok, so I bought some redex today. ran it with some super unleaded. Up a dual carriage way from a slow start, upto about 70mph flat out. 1 Judder, Big gun shot, lots of soot, loss of revs totally for 2-3 seconds (didnt cut out) and now it seems to be running perfect. Weird. Im of to try out the new polisher mark gave me shortley, once its cooled down a little more, as the sun wont be beaming on the car whilst polishing lol. Will post piccies.
