  2. You have PM Jimmer :D
  3. :( thats ok. Im of to see Rob Hughes tonight. He is moving on weekend, but Im going to borrow his trolley jack and axel stands :)
  4. Danny sold his on eBay, went for £51 iirc. I would of bid had I an eBay account lol. But wouldnt of went over 100 myself lol.
  5. Z makes the Skyline look like a bucket of lard lol. I still think its amazing that in 88/89 Nissan managed to develop not only the VG30DETT but also the RB26DETT and even the SR20DET (found in the 1990-1995 Pulsar GTi-R before the 200sx) all at the same time. Some people will say early 90's was great for Jap cars in General, but Nissan was definately ahead of the game with all 3 of those being designed and produced around the same time.
  6. Its not mine to sell mate. Speak to JeffTT, He sent me two, but I only paid for one. Planning on returning to him, when I go in for cambelt service. Sorry. You can have my old on, so you can send it of for rebuild prior to removing yours if you like.
  7. Thanks Jeff, plus rep to you matey :D Im assuming the pipe without the receipt is the second one, which is defo safe to use? +rep to you too. did you find out about those other bits?
  8. yeah, looks like it could be mate. it comes from above the alternator, like a loop on one end, and bolt on the other. Has a 90 Degree bend toward passenger side under alternator, and has a foam shroud around the bend. Does that sound like it? TT of course :D
  9. Hi, I have received a couple of lower PAS high pressure hyraulic pipes today for the Z. Yes I only need one, long story, need to return one lol. Im going to install this on Saturday. However I dont know how! I searched the forum for a how to guide, but cant find one. I had some general advice from JeffTT which sounded great, but I have amemory like a sieve and need a more definitive guide (in writing) Obviously I think it would make sense to remove the end nearest the passenger side first, to try drain the PAS fluid out. Once I have done this, I have no idea how to reach the other end, or release it. Any advice would be highly appreciated. Do I need to remove anything else? I will rewrite any guide info given here, with a step by step photo log of the work done, for the FAQ section after too. Thanks Again Ryan
  10. And which oils to use sorry
  11. Awesome, how is easy that to check / change? any guides anywhere? sorry if I sound like a novice - But I am in comparrisson to you!
  12. I know that lol. But I had a 420bhp 200sx (S14) and it was nowhere near that bad. (Just reversing onto the drive, which has no slant at all it was spinning up, never took it over 2000rpm)
  13. Nah mate, checked them all round, cant remember exact figure, but its what it says on the door in the car. so not that high, around 32psi I think?
  14. Today I bought the Zed home from the inlaws, on a trailor. Firstly getting it on the trailor was a nightmare, rear wheels spun up on slightest touch of throttle throwing the back end out by 2-3 feet. I ended up taking a run up, 10mph, soon as rear wheels were on the ramps there was no problems. Once I got home and offloaded it, slowly but surely. I reversed it on to the drive. Again, this time in reverse the rear wheels spun up. Guessing my tyres are shockingly bad. They look brand new and have loads of tread, probably covered no more than 200 miles. I dont know the brand of my head, but they are 225/50/16's I think I could possibly fit 235's but doubt it would make a significant difference. If I got a higher quality tyre, would this resolve? or is the only thing I can do jump into buying wider alloys for the sake of it? I would rather wait till something I actually like comes up if you know what I mean? Would anything else be affecting it? (Baring in mind the weather is dry)
  15. Great read, + rep for the useful info buddy.
  16. Hi all, Anyone around to give me a hand with working on the Z this Saturday coming? I have a stainless exhaust to fit aswell as a new PAS high pressure hose. I live in the evercreech area (BA4 postal code.)
  17. lol dont worry, im not one of these guys who cranks the gain right up lol. However, when im up Derby way to visi my sister, I may get you to have a go at fine tuning settings for me - if you dont mind that is, im a little tone death lol
  18. the groove is supposed to swoop hot air out from the calipers. I dont have OEM wheels so cant post a pic, but should be able to work out rotation from that.
  19. Having said that Nick, yours wants for nothing and having seen it in the flesh, I'd gladly pay that price, If I had the cash and no Z already! lol.
