its okay mate, we bought macook pro lastweek. had to install flash and java - none of my online games would work. I got fed up of it though, phoned apple this morning and arranged to send it back for a refund, under the 7 days long distance selling returns law. I used to have iMac, but after misses bought macbook pro last week, we'd never buy another mac :s

Latest movies have Audio protection. so when burning them to disk, if it detects a certain audio pattern it stops working if that makes any sense. technically it is illegal, unless obviously its home movies, compressed into xvid avi format to save space, obviously ;) Most DVD players actually play AVI and XVID now. I'd say 95% of them do. You could literally right click the movie, and choose send to disc or burn to disc depending on your operating system. Job Done :D

You my friend are amazing. No harm in trying, did you have to "file" two divets for it, as on the plastic clip, it looks as though it has two divets, I guess to give it something to grip to as you turn it. Will take it down DIY store in the week, try get a washer that fits.

Firstly let me say thankyou to Yewcheck, who kindly donated a door catch. It was received in the post today, however true to our Royal Mail postal service, it came in a little plastic bag, with a printed appology on it as shown below: Today I managed to get the door card of the drivers door, to start looking at exactly what the problem was. I found it was the catch which is directly attached to the lock and a true pain in the butt to reach. Nonetheless, I managed to locate it and remove the problem catch as shown below: As you can see at the top of the clip, it should be a complete circle, which attaches to the back of the "key hole". Unfortunately it has cracked, and needs to be replaced. Im not sure if the main part of the plastic clip was sent by Yewcheck as the envelope was ripped in half and placed in a plastic bag by Royal Mail and it could of been lost in the post. As You can see in the picture below, the clip which connects the snapped clip and the door mechanisms "bar" is available in white and yellow. Im assuming yellow is always the Right Hand Side, (UKDM, JDM Drivers Side, USDM Passenger Side) and white on the other. I have noticed they have a LH / RH marking on them as seen here: Anyway, if anyone has a "yellow" locking clip spare as shown in the second picture (but not broken of course lol) I would highly appreciate it, as I currently have the drivers door panel of, (which was a pig - untill I realised what I needed to do!) I will get a guide up, soon as I have completed the repair.
