  1. Cheddar Gorge Road is Amazing (with Laybys all the way up and down, you can also go on guided tours, cliff climbing, absailing, shopping, proper little tourist spot): Longleat is pretty awesome: Brean Beech: Dinner down the local: Look fun? lol
  2. Cheddar Gorge. Best Photo Opportunities ever. its about 20 mins from Brean beach too, where you can go on the beach for pics. loads of nice places to eat. and its "just of" the M5. But far away enough not to hear it / see it. You can go from there upto cribbs causeway, or down to weymouth, or lyme regis. Also got Longleet not far too, which has a zoo, fun park and obviously the historical house etc... And you could also accidently bump into a few other zed owners on holiday. Just tell the misses, I honestly didnt know they would be there! Whats the point in staying in one location, when you can plan a 4-5 day round trip, with a different location, and something different to do each day? will find pics shortley.....
  3. Great news mate. Always a nice feeling. As long as it lasts! I got the annoying beep on mine, which just beeps constantly whilst in reverse. like a parking sensor, but without the sensor lol. and it beeps over 100kmh - two niggly issues I need to sort out. Will be glad when they are fixed too. sometimes the small things make a huge difference.
  4. Me and my sister in her prom dress, about 4 years ago, before I gained a ton of weight lmao as per the previous post!
  5. Me and Crystal, my better half:
  6. old thread. but Never seen it before. Im not keen on this zed, just my opinion. I preffer the standard car. There is a little too much going on for me. I like the wheels, but not the fitment as they look lost. with spacers could make a world of difference. id dump the hydraulics for spacers and remove the bodykit. then would be mint.
  7. prep the car and supply the paint yourself, should be able to get rest done for about £300. im not sure if im going candy apple red over gold or fresh AH3.
  8. apparently adds 22-24bhp too. http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=4365&Car_Type=300&UID=2012060916134086.175.120.207 good bang for buck as they put it.
  9. Not a Zed though! lol. He couldnt decide between a white 350z and the RS. So he got the RS. Then the 370Z came out, and he doesnt say it in black and white, but I think he regrets getting the RS. He always says its not a purebred sports car like the Zeds, more of a high performance family car, also keeps saying how great the 370 looks with th 260/280 rear quarter lines / windows. I spoke to the misses, sometime in the summer, (when it comes) we will be through a BBQ for anyone who wants to come from the club. Pleanty of nice roads round here if we decide to go for a drive, pleanty of photo opportunities. and free food for all, what could be better :P
  10. trimmed or flocked mate? I know people who had trimmed, and a few who had flocked. which imo looks more subtle. but gets rid of glare, and allows you to have any colour you like, with a precision finish
  11. lol. well it was on the farm, so not the best place inthe world for it :(
  12. I met up with Rob earlier. Real nice guy. His Zed is defo coming on. Maserati brakes look stunning and engine bay is really coming on. Misses said we should of bought a Blue Zed, the colour really suits the car. Made me want some deep dish alloys too lol. Anyway, we jacked up my Zed, found the PAS leak is the pipe coming from just above the alternatordown under the engine towards the passengr side. Rob advised thats the pipe from th PAS to the rear wheel steer. quite a thick black pipe with a "black foam" casing half way down. This is more than likely the issues with my Hicas too. Hopefully have a manual conversion lined up too now. which is great. I donated a Nissan Flare to Rob too, as I still have the one from my S14 sat in the garage. Thanks for all the info today Rob, top bloke. defo gonna have to have a meet in the area sometime, and when I hire the spray gun and compressor in a couple of months for my full body respray, I dont mind giving your car a blowover at cost of paint (prob no more than £30) Cant believe partners dad took you out in the RS - he never drives it lmao. 3000 miles in two years! :thumbup1:
  13. your OEM lights dont look to bad either. is there any "cracking" in thm at all?or was it just the center panel? if not im interested in them. Im probably the only guy on here who wants the phase 1 rear lights lol.
  14. out of interest how much was your bid? lol. Congrats on winning it too mate. nice looking bumper - you got a bargain. what bumper you got on right now? any pics?
  15. I had major issues with them I bought a genuine TRD wide arch kit on eBay for one of my old MR2s, and arranged for them to collect it mid november 2010. They never turned up to collect it from the seller. and admited the fact that collection hadnt been attempted. They advised they could rearrange collection, but could not offer a refund. I literally 27 collection arrangements later they collected it in March 2011 almost 5 months later. Granted once collected they upgraded it to next day delivery for my inconveniance. But I dont think next day delivery vs 5 months collection is viable compensation. And they still refused to offer a refund after all that time. I would never part with my cash to them again. But thats just my experiences.
  16. Glad the money is going to cancer research though. My mother just beat breast cancer, I had bowel cancer about 6 years ago, but am all good now, and my partner had termainal cancer for 7 years, but was very lucky to pull through. Although she lost a kidney, her spleen, and other things to the cancer, but she is still here, which is what matters. :thumbsup1: to you mate.
  17. I dont have ebay, otherwise I would of had that for least double the price. should of advertised it on the club mate. Im in Somerset too lmao. If your collecting it today tomomontana, what time you down this way? me and Rob Hughes meeting up later to do some stuff on my zed. that was a real nice bumper Dan, cant believe you sold it!
  18. No Idea Harby. They dont actually give you any power as such. But the car becomes so much more responsive, and obviously uses less power turning the belts, and thus gives more power at the wheels. combined with a light weight fly wheel, you could see around 60% drop in power loss before it hits the wheels. But its the response. honestly I never believed it till I tried it. I only bought them as they looked shiney in the engine bay. But if I was to ever mod the Zed mechanically, that would be one of the first purchases. whats point increasing power to the fly, when your still losing so much to the wheels? makes every upgrade after give more power to the wheels.
  19. Just ask Z1 mate, they must have the belts. You are going to notice a massive difference when these are fitted. I mean MASSIVE. On My old Mitsi GTO TT, I took it and had induction, manifold back exhaust, waste gates, boost controller and remap done, which made huge difference, but just a few weeks later, I had all the pulleys swapped out for ultra lightweight ones, and damn, the difference was insane, even more noticable than the first lot of mods I had done.
  20. good work mate. like said on the forum, takes some balls to start sanding down your car! I did 2000, 3000 and 4000 by machine on a freshly painted car, just to remove orange peel. but by hand, thats impressive stuff mate.
  21. want a hand with it mate? Im not far from Bristol :P
  22. mind you did the thermostat in that time, I forgot about that till I saw the pic. Was hard work by hand.
  23. Took me a total of 13 hours to do my FTO Plenum (by hand mind....):
  24. To be honest, might seem a bit boring, but given funds, I would take these two cars of the list.... 1st for track days 2nd for towing it to track days.... lmao
