  12. how much that cost you mate? seems like the same thing Im planning on :D
  13. any recommendations for companies to build me a PAS hose? I know of Pirtek - but want to shop around. make sure I get top quality hoses. Seeing as they are 20+ years old, I can imagine a few failing, and dont want a used one for the reason, its expected lifespan has already passed.
  14. there is pearl red too.... AH3 :P
  15. Just found it: http://www.driftworks.com/shop/driftworks-total-hicas-eliminator-kit-for-nissan.html is that the one? looks totally different to all the others I have seen :s
  16. its going to be fun when fixed I thinks. I cant put my foot down at all at the moment, as the rear steering has a mind of its own. pulls out for no reason. Luckily, I am able to pull it back in, but if I didnt fix it, you can guarantee, one day it would catch me out and kill me - and itself at the same time :(
  17. ok, so you heard problem 1 yesterday. (door lock plastic catch broke) problem 2: my tripometer stopped counting up the KMs today. but speedo etc still working. problem 3: one of my power steering hoses has a leak, in process of replacing now. problem 4: The car keeps trying to kill me even at consistent speeds and no accelerating - if I hit a slight bump in the road, i start fish tailing, badly... Lightness at the rear which I previously mentioned seems to be down to play in the joints. Spoke to Luke at Z Center, and am going to get his Hicas removal fitted along with inner track rods and outter track rod balls at the same time. So only one of the issues i really need help with is the tripometer lmao. All niggly issues, but thing is, I need to take a maintened no matter what the cost approach, I have nothing but time,
  18. This place makes some nice replicas: http://www.extreme-sportscars.com/
  19. The only reason I wish I had a manual is that 1: there is a delay when you put your foot down, very slight, but its there, 2: it changes gear when I dont want it too! 3: It doesnt change gear when I want it too, 4: I could be cruising along at around 50mph - between 40-60 and it will keep up and down shifting in that range, as though it cant just hold it in gear - which I would in a manual. I have a button called "Hold/Power" Once your upto pace, it pays of to press hold, to hold it in gear, but it is still annoying nonetheless. Plus we have lots of lorries and tractors here in somerset, so you do a lot of overtaking, on quite windy country roads. would be much easier to shift down and go for the overtake, but with the auto, you get that slight delay, and then bam, its shifting through the gears at full boost, and your just going way to fast. The car is fast, and prob accelerates better than most manuals due to the lack of driver error. However more experienced owners with manuals, I would like to assume would be even quicker than the auto. I see people here modding to 500bhp+ to me, the car is more than fast already. Even in my 22year old Auto its as fast as my partners dads MK2 Focus RS, He just cant get away, and after 80mph (on privately owned land) the Zed starts to pull clear.
  20. Peo, I have the Auto too, wish it was manual after just 90 miles of driving. best to test drive a couple. the price to import a minter, might be worth buying one, having a rebuild and respray - to your exact requirements.
  21. yes they are, here is a linky: http://www.neweraimports.com/
