Glad all turned out ok in the end. Nothing worse than excess wires too, I know what your talking about. I would of been dreading explaining it lol. tbh, the cable modem would have probably been to slow to handle it all anyways :D

1999 spec Zed on eBay, ends just after 9pm, £3995
Just how the Market is right now Im afraid guys. They are going for peanuts. As no one wants to pay the fuel, and not many realise how cheap to insure they are. Think about it, £220 a year fully comp for a 28 year old male. on classic insurance. who cares about economy, Im saving £500+ a year vs insurance on most other cars I have owned.

Double Din - Z32 Zone
Have you been talking to David about this?
-
Double Din - Z32 Zone
$235 UD - does that include shipping? $235 = £149 So not as bad as I thought for an OEM looking double din, need to change the Jap head unit anyway, and would need something with Euro Nav in the Dash. As Im planning on visiting family in Germany and Italy in the Zed.

Please don't start with Rooney!!!
lol sorry Charles, just how it looked :D BigC, Thought you would support Paul Di Resta? he is a good driver. put him in a better car, I think magic could happen! Alonso is good, I like him, seems to be getting much more out of the Ferrari than Massa. So What you all think to England Vs Italy? Bets? Rooney for Hatrick Gary? Rooney not to start Bruce? 3-2 Score? what we think?

Hello
Sounds good, but I think you would need a Traders subscription. May be wrong though.

Please don't start with Rooney!!!
You drive a sports car and don't like motor racing? are you serious? lmfao. I love F1, just don't get time to watch it often. Get way more into it than the football. If England lose, I kind of expect it, so don't get disheartened. When you got great British drivers in F1, its nail biting supporting them.

Diesel conversion
but LPG prices are rising much faster than petrol and diesel prices. Basically they say if a car does 30mpg on petrol, it will do 20mpg on LPG. So at 72p a litre for LPG, and £1.45 a litre for petrol your looking half the price for the fuel, but only 66% of the MPG. lets talk miles per litre to keep it simple. 6 miles per litre in petrol = £1.45 for 6 miles. say 4 miles per litre in LPG = £0.75 for 4 miles. or £1.13 for 6 miles roughly. Difference is 32p over 6 miles, thats just over 5p a mile saving. With conversions around £1600, you would need to drive the car 32,000 miles at 75 pence a litre to break even - which means spending £6,000 on fuel before you start saving any money. Anyone here imagine themselves using £7600 of Petrol in the lifetime of owning their Zed's?

Just called BRC in Trowbridge, they quote £1600 + VAT. But need to see vehicle first as they are not sure if the can fit the kit in the engine bay of the Zed. They have refused M5's etc.. as engine bay to packed to get injector rails, new ecu etc.. fitted on the space available.

Ebay account question?
As per the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) (Made Simple) Soon as payment is made, The buyer and seller have a contractual agreement. This applies multiple legislations soon as payment is received. 1> The Seller, Must provide the buyer with the goods agreed, fit for purpose, in a suitable state of repair, as described. (unless specified prior to receiving payment - Only way to prove is with a copy of the advertisement) 2> If the seller does not meet the above requirements, they must a> Refund, b> Repair, c> Replace - without any inconvenience to the buyer. 3> These conditions last for six years. Wear and Tear is not covered, and unto the point of six years, any refunds could be hit by a wear and tear charge, meaning, a full refund would not be available (in your case you never received the goods, so wear and tear does not apply) I know you have a solicitor looking into this, and he is going to know much more than me. I only know the basics in comparison. However, the law does state the vehicle is technically yours, and it is better than nothing. Despite being a huge loss. So ask the solicitor to get you the vehicle from the official receiver. If the receiver never received the vehicle, it didn't belong to the company, and the person your chasing, is no longer a bankrupt business :P

Ebay account question?
Hey Buddy. Just spoke with my sister. She said if Fred was advertising the vehicle, and payment was received by Fred's dads company, Which later went into liquidation / bankruptcy. Then there should be a Bankruptcy / Liquidation Certificate and Number. Your solicitor should be able to contact the official receiver of said company (with the Bankruptcy number), who has dealt with the liquidation. If the receiver did not get the car, then it and its payment would not be included in the bankruptcy, meaning Fred AND his dads company would be prosecuted by the Government for fraudulent bankruptcy. Despite you rejecting the Rolex, it still belongs to you until you have a replacement or refund, and thus Fred would not have been entitled to sell it on either - thus it should have been made available for the Receiver if he hadn't put it into your name. Would you happen to have the "Serial Number" of said rolex, i.e similar to chassis number / registration plates on cars? This way it would speed things up with the Receiver, instead of having to check multiple Rolex's to find out which was the one in question. HTH.
