Well I'm back and fooking knackered! Passed all of the exams (24 hours of exams in 2 weeks :eek: ) and filled some big gaps in my knowledge base as well :cool: Now, off to find a half decent contract! CheerZ Steve :)

I'm away on an MCSE course for the next 2 weeks (back on 18 Nov!). Got here yesterday and worked till midnight last night. Started at 08:30 this morning and have just finished this evening. Fook I'm knackered! I know a lot of what we're covering but there are still some big holes in my knowledge (we're covering Vista today and tomorrow). If you're running XP, go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select "Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons)". If IE starts OK like this, go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Manage Add-Ons. You'll now need to disable the offending Add-On by trial and error... HTH Steve :)

Welcome Alex. Take a look at the engine by numbers to give you an idea of where stuff is located. The PTU is a common failure on Zeds so is a likely culprit. HTH Steve :)

I can't believe that after 41 posts, nobody has mentioned Racelogic Traction Control :bow: Just because Clarkson is always slagging off factory fitted traction control systems, don't be fooled into thinking that it's not an excellent bit of kit ;) Steve :)

Spoke to them today Eric and they deny all knowledge of this :confused: The product has a finite lifespan because so many of the newer vehicles are being produced with advanced misfire detection systems under EU rules. Whilst there's still a market however, Racelogic say that they will still be producing Traction Control systems. Steve :)
