Try removing the fuel pump fuse (30A cartridge in small fuse box on driver's side rear of engine). Turn her over a few more times to dry out the plugs, then replace fuse and try again. The old fuel shouldn't be a problem. I've run mine on 12 month old Optimax with no problems (albeit carefully) HTH Steve :)
