  2. I have a nvq level 3 in brew making and a btec in toast-making :).....got certificates and everything!. My babies there over the weekend to have the drivers side sill sorted, as well as the bit 'o' bubbling on the rear arches :)
  3. Goes on the floor in front of the seats and the hook bit goes through the hole on the original shagpile fairlady z mats.stops the mats moving :)
  4. Have got a black manual balance bar if you are stuck for one.dont forget a one valve before the booster if you do tee into the brake servo vacuum line.
  5. Glad you got it sorted :)........what clutch you got fitted?, ive got a F1racing stage 3 6- puck and its got better the more ive used it.was as heavy and as on-off as hell to start but is now quite nice and I havent got the clutch booster connected as mine leaked air.
  6. Whereabouts in wolves are you?, have to meet up one of the days :) For all things zed related theres obviously Jeff at Zedworld in Coleshill, or my friend and gaffer Lee Dent at L.A Autorepair in Shrewsbury.Hes a zed enthustiast (owns a black 2+2 tt) and has helped me alot the my zed as well as a few others.we've currently get another members zed in for replacement turbos etc.Even if you just pop by for a natter the kettles always on! :)
  7. Everywhere I tried, including mjp and the zcentre and ebay sellerstold me they are only available as a complete assembly with new arms not seperately :)
  8. May be of interest to everyone.......i had trouble locating bottom arm balljoints for a zed and was told by a number of places that I would have to buy complete bottom arm (£215 +vat each for the rear :( )......... so I got in touch with Chris at Conceptua Tuning who do skyline balljoints, and he was more was more than happy to get an initial set fabricated,as long as I was willing to be the guinea pig and try them on my zed.If they fit well and the feedback is positive they will be putting them into production.First set for me to trial should hopefully be with me tomorrow so will keep you guys posted :)
  9. Hello and welcome.you aint too far from me, im in telford :)
  10. uk spec and jdm spec have different targa blinds......uk ones are a bit smaller cos of the rubber strip along the front edge.
  11. man up and drive it!, LOL :) I think you answered your own question when you said you dont think you could sell her.Dont know if its just me but zeds seem more reliable if they are used regularly. if you were having a midlife crisis you'd have a convertible british sports car and a dodgy toupe by now.........and be in a world of british car industry hurt!!!!. :)
  12. always believe in the saying 'if you buy cheap you buy twice'.........i would get a decent one from apexi, greddy etc from the word go :) I bought a cheap air/fuel ratio gauge off ebay years ago and it was about as much use as t*ts on a bull!!!.
  13. im pretty sure you need an adapter bracket. :)
  14. If you dont want the beep in reverse just take out the two screws that hold the top of the dash above the clocks, lift it off and theres a black box on a bracket towards the back with a white 3 wire connector going to it.remove this and the beep is gone!. Must admit I like mine cos its a jdm thing! :)
  15. Since I bought the zed last september the intermittent wiper setting has never worked and I just lived with it, but just lately its been annoying me so while I was at zedworld on friday I picked up a timer control unit (square white box in drivers footwell on a bracket next to a green relay) and once swapped over my intermittent wipers work as they should so nice result.i hate it when stuff is fitted and it doesnt work. Also sorted the beep when you leave your lights on so pleased to say everything in the car works:)
  16. Hi mate, have you tried checking the continuity of the wires with a multimeter?, could be a break in the wire somewhere.could also be a dodgy switch on the door pillar not working which is causing the interior light not to work.dont know how much rain you get in sydney but it could be the dreaded targa drain leak onto the electrics causing you problems.......just a few thought bud :)
  17. No mate, just plain.one set of calipers have standard pads, the other set have ebc yellowstuff pads with life left in the.also one set are plain and the other are painted red with proper caliper paint :)
  18. You can have the lot for £200 plus i'll throw in a pair of braided steel brakelines......worth that easy as popular upgrade on s13's and s14's :)
  19. Dont know if you would be interested but I have got a pair of tt front discs in good condition and two pairs of 30mm alloy tt calipers for sale :)

  21. Did you reseal the new ones????........if you dont the boot will fill with water :(
  22. how did you find the fit of the rear lights?.......yours look the same as mine and my drivers side one is a bit proud of the bodywork on the bottom righthand corner.
  23. just a thought but what i did with mine was enlarged the hole for the bulbholder with a dremel to allow a larger bulbholder to be fitted, if you take your time you can create the cutouts for the offset lugs on the bulbholder as well.
  24. Due to unforeseen circumstances that isnt going ahead now mate, had to move the chevy lump on :(
