  1. I was born at 29 weeks 41 years ago...... and my parents were told not to get attached to me and it wasnt worth naming me as I wouldnt make it through the day!!!.....now 6ft and 18 stone! (need to lose a bit!, lol).
  2. Will look better once I get my polished plenum on :)
  3. I could polish it for you for a lot less than that :)
  4. No problem matey......seems worth doing whilst the plenums off as my pcv valves and hoses are always oily, and not just oil mist oily if you know what I mean :)
  5. Cam covers modded ready for pcv hose reroute :)
  6. This was mine last weekend :( All welded now, but needs finishing now.Earlier this year it had both rear quaters done as they had completely rotted away, the front crossmember was refabricated as well as a few other places. The sills are being finish the weekend after next along with a scab on each rear arch and a few bits around the rear lights. If you find a good welder most things are repairable......just depends how far you want to go!. :)
  7. check the coonectors in the passenger footwell as well , as i had loads of weird electric faults when the passenger side targa drain leaked all over the connectors in the top lefthand side of the passenger footwell. It had been leaking since before it bought the car and the connectors in that area were well and truly fubar'd.......ended up having them rewired.
  8. Whats the situation with these (and adjustable suspension arms etc) regarding the new MOT regs, as they dont have a rubber boot over the bearing part?.......have been told they have got tight over missing/split boots and can argue that rose-jointed suspension components without boots are for competition use only, anyone else heard/come across this???
  9. Happy birthday mate, have a good one :)
  10. both pcv's vent from the passenger side exhaust cam cover........by moving the pcv vents to the highest point on the inlet covers (as in the photo above) its virtually impossible for the pcv's to draw oil through the system.the pcv valves themselves remain in their original positions on the plenum, its the pipework that is different in the way it is routed. check this out http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1019112/The-ultimate-PCV-reroute-write-up.html
  11. I'll polish your plenum, you make me brews!, lol ;)
  12. Its as quick to take the hub carrier off and press them out.....saves loads of blood and swearing and less chance of buggering something up with large hammers! :)
  13. Fitting your gearbox in a mo as well Andy :)...........i am a busy bee today!, lol.
  14. Drilled and tapped a spare pair of inlet cam covers ready to re-route pcv hoses once the plenums off, get the pcv outlets off the exhaust cam cover to stop it picking up oil and drawing it through the pcv's.will spray the covers before they go on. :)
  15. Havent used laquer, as I laquered a v6 calibra plenum and it yellowed over time :( Throttle body bolts are stainless steel m8 allen headed capscrews , as are the coilpack bracket bolts :) Stainless steel egr blanks fitted as well :)
  16. They'll polish out over time!, lol :).......such a massive difference I can live with to odd small mark tbh.
  17. Should stiffen the old girl up a bit New lower arm balljoints from Conceptua :) Hope to get this fitted next week so will have a spare subframe (minus the diff but complete with arms) if anyones interested :)
  18. Howdo chief.......i knew it was 100 and something :)
  19. surely a gas conversion would be cheaper and easier, with no loss in performance (lpg has an octane rating of 101ron iirc).
  20. No worries Richard, cheers mate :)
  21. I would say stick with standard plugs, as I had ngk iridiums in mine for a bit and it didnt like them (cue loads of folks saying they are perfectly good), as they caused rough idle etc and was advised to change back to standard plugs (by Jeff at Zedworld and a few other people) and that cured the rough running straightaway. On removing the iridiums they are actually shorter than a standard plug, which to my mind cant realy be very good.
  22. As daft as this may sound 2003 renault megane injector connectors fit perfect as zed coolant temp sensor connectors! :)
