  1. no mate, just bled the fronts as didnt touch the rears or let fluid level in the reservior drop.
  2. Got the pair for £300.......but dont tell the mrs ;)
  3. Finally got my 350z Brembo calipers on the front of the old girl today and it was very straightforward, just had to drill the mounting bolt holes out from 12mm to 14mm.I purchased the brake conversion off AlanZ which included 350z Track discs (324mm), JSK conversion brackets and standard zed calipers....thanks to Alan by the way for the generous refund for having to get the discs skimmed, much appreciated matey :).....which all worked well but I thought why not fit the 350z Brembos as well!.I had to get 4 14mm caliper bolts from Nissan (nearly £14 for the 4), but the killer was £104+vat for the pad fitting kit!!!.I already had the two spring plates and was just missing the 4 pins....so I told them to stick it and modified 4 standard zed pins (shortened slightly and redrilled the hole for the 'R' clips) and carefully drilled out the 2 holes on the one side of the calipers to allow the pin to go through and they work perfect and look like a factory job.Just got to bed the pads in now :)
  4. Bugger......id have had the diff if id known :(
  5. Anyone running 350z Brembos know where I can get a pad fitting kit cheap in the uk?.only need the 4 pins and Nissan want £104+vat for the kit :(.
  6. thats how they are fitted on just about every image etc that i can find.........fitted this way it surely gives more clearance around the spring??!!.Havent had any issues with mine being this way round.Heres another image that shows the longer portion facing towards the front.....
  7. here you go :), the longer portion goes to the front.........
  8. cheapest i can find them for in the States is $53.49, thought they might be cheaper over there.fitting 350z Brembos myself on Monday......hope my bleed nipples are ok!. had to get the pad fitting kit and 4 caliper bolts from Nissan, as i couldnt find them anywhere else :( So you got 350z discs as well Andy?, are they plain or grooved/drilled?.
  9. Give it a good blast and get it nice and hot and it should lose that extra point :)
  10. what i do know is that 350z discs are 324mm.If you need the diameter of evo discs id try googling it.I may have a pair of caliper re-locating brackets and standard zed calipers for sale soon that will bolt straight to a 350z 324mm disc.
  11. im finding it slow on the laptop and real slow on my mobile.
  12. i had a rough running problem at low revs and idle and cured it by pulling the iridium plugs out and putting stock plugs in! (a lot of folks will tell you iridium ones are better, but can only speak from my own experience). It cured it straightaway, as the iridium plugs are around 2.5mm shorter than the standard zed plug.I was advised to change the iridium ones on the advice of a number of people including Jeff and Jamie at Zedworld. i have also noticed a big improvement at idle since replacing the pcv valves and all 5 pcv hoses with brand new ones.As daft as it may sound the engine is also quieter to the point where the difference is quite noticeable. Standard on the left, and iridium on right.
  13. Just pushed the boat out and ordered a shift light!.......blue LED to match my dash!!! :)
  14. Worth fitting mate, thinking of wiring a shiftlight to the rpm output.good if you have got aftermarket wheels as it can be set up to correct the difference in diameter so the speed function is accurate.
  15. Got round to fitting my brake servo stopper, apexi rev/speed meter, Jecs visualpower meter and brand new pcv valves and all 5 hoses and made a custom bracket for my boost solenoid.Cant believe how much smoother the engine is with the new pcvs and hoses fitted, seems so much smoother on idle etc :)
  16. If Lotus only made 4 of them how did they end up in someones bedroom?.........that carpet needs a clean!. Dont like them by the way........
  17. Does it appear to be running rich?.....may be worth checking the coolant temp sensor connection.
  18. Whiteline do rear droplinks, i got a set from the Zcentre :)
  19. have a message back from chris at Conceptua and they dont do the rear lower arm ones......yet.Going to give him a call on Monday to see about developing some for the 300zx :)
  20. Wrong one mate, they are hicas ball joints.... Not lower arm ball joints :)
  21. i thought it was, having large hands and only being able to swing the ratchet like 3 clicks at a time :(
  22. is it a worse job than removing the top rear aircon compressor bolt?.
  23. Ive just sent them a message via Ebay, cheers for the heads-up, as everyone else ive spoken to has told me they arent available seperately :)
  24. cheers matey, will have a look on their website :)
