  1. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/McGARD-LOCKING-WHEEL-NUTS-NISSAN-100NX-200SX-300ZX-etc-/270758060450?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Wheels_tyres_Trim_Nuts_ET&hash=item3f0a7021a2 They also do a longer slim version, Worth checking their web site. I bought some not long back, so long as you do not over tighten them, (which goes for any locking nut) they are fine.
  2. I think I have sussed the pictures problem, so I thought I would post my progress so far. Quite like the lime green and arctic white colour scheme, may incorporate it else where.
  3. Mmmmm, Difficult one? I go with Ian's! What exactly is it Ian?
  4. Great minds think alike!

  6. This might be of help. http://www.which.co.uk/cars/driving/driving-advice/dealing-with-speeding-tickets/how-to-contest-a-speeding-ticket/
  7. I would ask yourself this, how confident are you that you were travelling within the stated speed limit? If the answer is 90% or more then consider an appeal, after all, we are supposed to be living in a society of freedom of speech and that the legal system is there to protect the Innocent as well as prosecute the wrong doers. I do not know the correct way to go about this, but I am sure there must be people you can contact for impartial advise. Maybe there are contact details within the correspondence they sent out when issuing the fine and penalty. I hope you successfully contest it. Good luck.
  8. Heart over head every time for me mate. I look at it this way, in a few months time will you regret not having driven it but still have it sitting in the garage. Or, in a few months time will you regret not having it at all? (Tough call)
  9. Good News, Any advisories or did she sail through?
  10. Cheers Guy's, Some very useful links and comments. In the meantime, I have been busy finishing the prep work and even managed to spray my first section in my makeshift spray booth. lol I decided to be a bit radical with the colour scheme and hopefully when I add some finishing touches it will be worth it. (By the way? is it possible to still add pictures or do I have to stick to thumbnails?)
  11. Hi Ossian, Good to hear from you again, Thanks for the info. I will contact Big Red and see what they say. Appreciate your comments (and inspiration) with regards to the welding, I thought it would never end! Thanks also Vodkashots, Interesting link. I will ask about their carriage costs tomorrow. Looks promising.
  12. I knew I had read it somewhere. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?132099-Water-leaks-electrical-issues-and-targas&highlight=targa+drain
  13. Admittedly, It's not the passenger side, but may still give some guidance. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?158033-Targa-pipe-tech-again&. I am sure Jeff did a left hand Drain tech, I will look further.
  14. Stripped down my front callipers today with the idea of a full paint and refurb. Some of the pistons are beyond repair but fortunately the bores appear to be in good condition. Set about getting the best part of 20 years of cr*p off them prior to a good coating of rust converter. Would like to ask if there is anything I should pay particular attention to during this refurb, I would hate to go to all this trouble to then find I have missed something. I thought I would add some photo's of my initial efforts for your thoughts. Not to sure if it is still possible to attach pictures in the usual way, but here goes. Well that didn't work, Hmmmm?
  15. If I recall, Has your car been standing for a while? Mine had the same problem after several years on axle stands. I disconnected the pipe work to the cold start valve and sprayed a liberal amount of WD40 in there, seems to have been OK since
  16. I have 82 degrees in my head for some reason. Maybe wrong?
  17. Had the same problem, mine was the bulb clips were a little corroded, cleaned them up and has been fine since.
  18. Managed to get away with my front break pipes, but had to do the rear unfortunately. I am not saying it is not possible with the sub frame in, but I did feel I needed to remove mine just for ease of access alone, http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15465&page=38
