  1. You must be chuffed to bits, I hope I have the same success later on, around this time next month.
  2. Thinking of doing mine over the winter, only just got through the MOT. I am contemplating using a gear puller (to push it out) if I can find one that will go over the edge of the arm, don't know if it is possible without the use of a chunky C washer at the back though. May not even have the Umph! Just an idea at the mo'
  3. Could be worth contacting your insurance company, see if they will give you an agreed evaluation. At least that way you will be well covered if nothing else.
  4. Zedworld comes through yet again!
  5. Mine is garaged for the winter at the moment, Lots of bits to work on in the mean time. Maybe we should do a mini meet when the summers back?

  12. Mine is standard layout I'm afraid Sayers, I would not have a clue as to the pipe layout for a boost control system. There are plenty on here that do though, so hopefully someone will be along soon and explain.
  13. Where's the flux capacitor?:cool2:
  14. Thanks Hollowpoint, standard gauge as you say. Sorry Sayers, did not mean to high-jack your thread mate.
  15. Cheers Steams, I hope it is a dodgy gauge, could the wast gates be seized? it has been standing a while
  16. What should the standard boost be for a 300zx tt manual out of interest?. Mine hits 14psi every time and as far as I know, It's completely standard.
  17. it would be interesting to know what compression test results you get just after having had her running, I know things will be hot but never the less, may be interesting to know?
  18. Could it have anything to do with the cold start auxiliary air system not functioning? Almost sounds like it wants to run but has no initial over fuelling/additional air being supplied. Maybe that after standing for a while the auxiliary air device has seized in the closed position? Or would it still fire up anyway?
  19. Admire your tenacity mate, most would have given up by now. Glad to hear you found the problem, you must be well chuffed.
  20. http://www.autopyjama.co.uk I have had a one from these guy,s and although they seem expensive compared to the cheaper ones, they are well worth the money. Excellent quality and workmanship.
  21. Once you have removed the 2 screws fixing the spoiler, is it just a matter of warming the adhesive tape and then pulling it off the press fixings ? Looks like mine has leaked and rotted the tailgate below so I will need to remove it so as to repair.
  22. Is the gauge now working? If not, I would disconnect it's live at source to see if there is a short causing the fuse to blow.
