  1. Cheers Bri for the confirmation I already emailed transtar and confirmed 7 attending as they are about to close entries Yeah guys I will pay all the passes (7 unless anyone else decides to come along before the morning) and just pay me money on the day is fine We do need to arrange in two convoys though, one from M6 J16 and the other from M6 J13. All meeting at J13 (about 7 miles from venue) to combine the convoys so I can distribute passes before arrival We were a bit late arriving at Trentham tbh (show was already open) so given the fact there are queues I think we need to be getting to J13 around 8.45 I would think (which makes J16 meet about 8:15) That would see us in the venue by about 9:15 or so which gives us time to then find our stand and the public are admitted from 10am; so we at least have a little time to sort ourselves out this time lol Rich PS I also asked this time that our stand says 300ZX and not 300XK!!!
  2. Dont think that last one counts cos it's a car show isn't it?
  3. Yeah GAz deffo in the lead so far. Shame it's not a better pic
  4. Onslow PaulR IanGreenfield Silverline Gray dicky96 Znut Is that right - seven passes? sending money tomorrow Rich
  5. Nice pics Here's a few I took last year from the observation deck on the Internation Commerce Center, Hong Kong on a 10 day holiday last year (wifes 'special' birthday present) . The worlds 4th tallest building and this is about 120 floors up. The turbo lift takes about 40secs to reach the top if I remember right. It certainly was very quick!!
  6. What happened to rolandas pick of a zed parked much much to close lol
  7. Well I did find it hanging around outside a boozer lol Nice Pic rolandas!!
  8. Yeah I also think the z32 looks very good compared alongside the chunkier GTR!
  9. Nahh m8 we can just meet up at J13 M6, pay me on the day
  10. OK I thought this might be a bit of fun Park your Zed next to something interesting you spot out and about (no cheating with show pics) and get some pics Hell we could even have a poll for the best pic OK here's some from me that I took today My Zed vs 1981 Porsche 924 (or is it a 928 or a 944, I shoulda looked lol?)
  11. Cheers Onslow - it's getting cheaper hehe Do you wanna have me post your pass out (when i have them in a few days) ow we could meet at M6 J13 and drive in from there Brian are you a definite yet - we could drive down from J16 M6 to meet with Onslow at J13 Iangreenfield and PaulR are you still up for this? That would by five passes. I reserved four and am sending payment monday as they are closing registration but I could sneak another one or two in I guess Rich
  12. Righto here we go..... I did say I wanted to attend this event and I am going to do so I discussed this with the orgqanisers and have paid for four passes and hope that those who posted on this thread still want to come. otherwise it just cost me £14 to attend and be a billy no mates We can have a club stand courtesy of the organiser even with this low number of cars. The entries for this show close in a few days so I really if anyone else does want to come now is definitely the time to say so Rich
  13. The one I posted said D Super 5 on the back While talking Citreon a guy I used to work with had 2 CV 'Dolly' and raced me round a chicane on the road we used to have to drive to work on the industrial estate. Lets just say his leaned over and went round the last bend on his bicycle wheels and my Cortina Mk 4 estate (at the time) came out sideways I also heard that the did a versone of the 2CV with two engines, one on the front and one in the back! Don't know if htat is true unless i bothered to google it Well seems like that Citreon was a rare spot of mine up in Chorley yesterday, but I still think is is very fugley Could be a fun thread to have 'rare spot of the week' or something seeing as we pretty much all have phone/cams these days.... but there would have to be no cheating or it would be totally pointless Rich Rich
  14. I hope you were sober when typing that lol, but much appreciated Best chance I see (before they close entries) is if I pay for the six passses now myself (total £21 so not a huge deal) at my risk and hope I get the money back by enough of you coming along on the day Rich
  15. Show is still open to registrations. ^^^^ I would like to go but need a couple more to get a club stand. We got four (if PaulR fixes his injectors) and I need six It's a cheap day out, only £3.50 2 adults + 2 kids + 1 car so why not?
  16. Near Chorley yesterday I suppose someone must love it! I do remember vaguely seeing these things when I was a kid, surely only the French could design something like that.... and then sell it to us! Or maybe it's just me, is it a classic and worth loads dosh? Rich
  17. If it is an import though, you may fine like mine it is registered on the V5 as 3.0 Coupe Seeing as there are is no data for that model there is nothing to compare the results to Rich
  18. That I do Brian as the level does not read the same on all four sides of the dip stick - so I always take a couple of reading s and go from the level on the most sides. Honestly I can say with some confidence she is not using oil to any appreciable amount anymore Re Phutumsch - lol you don't know the half of it m8 believe me!
  19. Just remebered to go check the oil again - I took her out on national speed limit country roads today, about 40-50 miles round trip and I really ragged her hard once when I got to pull off from an x-roads on a straight stretch with nothing but the horizon in front of me. Ragging her hard did leave a good puff of smoke behind... but nothing else did. I just checked the oil and there is no noticable change from the levels when I topped her up yesterday So looks like not only the smoke has stopped, but also the oil loss. But why would this problem fix itself after all the trouble I had. It wasn't just the undoubted turbo fault as she made yet another litre dissapear in the 100 odd miles since then. Stuck piston rings (that are now freed) anybody?? Rich
  20. You mean like the bloody Red Devils?? PMSL
  21. Looks like they didnt' quite magic the central locking properly but a damn good effort all the same Doors lock when the alarm is not set and unlock when the alarm is set (plus with the alarm set you can't lock with the key for some reason, it feels kinda spongy if you try. Doors unlock when you start ignition and lock when you turn ignition off (once turbo timer times out) So it's all back to front like But it is nice to know after 2yrs this car actually does have keyless entry/locking!! Any suggestions how to make it work right other than letting Brian and Keith fondle her again......? Rich
  22. Zeta R for me and also adjustable tension rods Will pay you 1st/2nd August Rich
  23. Any more? Go on you know you want to........
  24. SOmebody must have come round and swapped my car Late saturday (as we were out) Because not only has the white smoke problem gone away, the keyless entry and locking has now started to work from the fob - something that never worked in over two years of owning this car and a feature I didn't even think it had as it is an early 93 with seatbelts on the doors!!
  25. Couple of pics from the day taken by Mack. One he took of me while driving on the way up lol Auto photography is his thing, as you can see  Rich
