Shugborough Hall classic car show Sun 11th August
If you are gonna sniff around the hall you should enjoy it! Last time we went they had 'characters' dressed up in period costume around the house - and you can chat with them too but they only understand period conversation Also has a 'working' victorian kitchen where folks in costume are preparing traditional foods and the working farm is also very much worth a look Journey through the historic grounds of the Shugborough Estate in Staffordshire and experience the nation’s best 'upstairs downstairs' experience. Set in 900 acres of stunning parkland and riverside gardens with elegant mansion house, working Victorian servants’ quarters, Georgian farm, dairy & mill and a restored walled garden, which are brought to life by costumed living history characters who share their lives and powerful stories from the past with visitors. Back for 2013 is Shugborough Revisited: Explore Lord Lichfield’s private rooms and hear the stories of one of the nation’s grandest families. Within the stunning parkland you can also explore beautiful gardens, magnificent monuments and wander through the island arboretum garden. The attraction also features a land train ride, play park, restaurant & tea rooms, craft workshops, gift shop and offers a fantastic full day out for everyone. Shugborough Classic Car Show Sunday 11 August 2013 10am-5pm This popular event will feature over 1000 vehicles dating back to the 1920’s with vintage and classic cars, sports cars, American and kit cars, club stands, motorbikes, commercials alongside arena attractions plus the popular auto jumble and trade area. We have a stand in front of the mansion house so bring your cameras guys and girls!

You mean a bit like this one sold on ebay last week? Silver, with black on bottom and red pin stripe down the side and across the rear bumper? Actually I think it looked pretty good and worked well with the red rim stripe on the alloys http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-TwinTurbo-New-MOT-300BHP-Cheap-Insurance-/161075350493?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2580d6cbdd&nma=true&si=0U%252Buw3stxkfUBkdj8mc6dd%252FQTqo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

The Zed vs Other Cars
@errol.s I like that pic... something about the greenish monochrome tint that reminds me of sunrise.... or the end of a staisfying days work.....and the fact the eye is naturally drawn towards the Z Not only because it stands out as a special car against the others, but also because of the way the photo is composed, yet it does not look professionally posed because of the candid 'snapshot' angle of the pic but it is perfectly framed with the sides of the two cars in the foreground I'd challenge anyone (car lover or not) to look at your pic and not be drawn inwards to your car. Very atmospheric and artistic

OK. There are no wires attached to it (nor can I see where they would go). I did the next best thing for now and cleaned it up so it matches the other red accessories under the bonnet!

Shugborough Hall classic car show Sun 11th August
Just so there is no confusion here regards admission prices: Those who have exhibitor passes you can have up to two adults and two sproggs under 15yrs in your car and this is included in your £3.50 entry fee Thos who do not have passes have to pay the normal rates at the ehibitors entrance but can still park on our group stand That means for anyone without a pass you pay £8 per adult and £3 per child. Children under 5yrs are free Same applies for anyone with a pass who for example wants to take 3 adults you would pay £8 extra on the gate Seeing as some of us do not have full cars (2 adult + 2 kids) we could maybe do a bit of swapping around at the J13 rendezous to minimise costs for those without passes? We for example will have 2 adults (maybe 3 adults if my m8 Mack comes along) , so have space to fit a sprogg in if needed Rich

300zx.co.uk window stickers..
Oh I do.... but having held the sticker up to the inside of the window they would still show through very well
-
300zx.co.uk window stickers..
See See it isn't just me thinks they have been made back to front, or rather they haven't been made back to front when they shoulda been !!! :tongue_smilie::tongue_smilie::tongue_smilie: However I'll gladly accept my award of dumbest technical question of the year lol Gary can we have some made in various colours the opposite way round m8 as my car tends to be (marginally) dryer on the inside than the out

Yeah the idea is for the southbound crew to meet at Sandbach (I have to go some way north for this but fancy the drive) Then we will convoy down to J13 to meet the rest of you heading northbound. If we meet Sandback at 8:45 that gives us plenty of time to get to J13 by 9:15 or so to meet you two plus Onslow. J13 Holiday Inn sounds good to me. PaulR I guess you have a 50/50 choice which rendezvous point you want to head for? That just leaves Steve (Silverline) who lives closer to Shugborough - do you want to have your pass and go directly to the show or do you want to meet at J13? I reckon with the inevitable little delays you always get when trying to organise a group of people, plus the queue into the venue which is 6 miles from J13, we should be on stand by about 10:15 which gives us 45 mins to organise ourselves before the show opens rather than just 'dumping' the cars like we did at Trentham lol Rich

300zx.co.uk window stickers..
I thought they must do as it seemed impossible to have them on the inside.... OK I'll give it a go

300zx.co.uk window stickers..
Got my welcome pack today (I never applied for one when I first joined a couple years ago) However this may be a daft question - there are two sets of 300zx.co.uk stickers for the rear quarterlights, and I would have thought they went on the iinside - but the letters are stuck to the white part of the strip, not the bluish part so they are all back to front unless they were on the outside of the window. No way can I get them to stay attached to the bluish backing strip Are they back to front or do they go on the outside as that seems the only way to apply them (I'm worried they could come off with a pressure wash....) Yes it's next weekend lol Chatted with Steve (Silverline) today looks like he probably is coming Also Chris (Artztogo) wants to come along and also pay on the gate normal admission The organisers told me that anyone wanting to pay on the day to exhibit should arrive with the rest of us together and they use the exhibitors entrance and pay on the day - then they will be on the club stand Be great to see you there Richard - hope you can still make it next weekend! Not decided on a venue for the J13 meet (I don't know that junction well, can anyone else suggest a good spot otherwise i will have to google something) I think on relection Sandbach services south is the spot to meet for the southbound convoy - it has possibilites of getting a coffee, a breakfast or a McBreakfast. I will be at the Sandbach rendezvous Onslow PaulR IanGreenfield Silverline Gray dicky96 Znut Roobarb Artztogo RichardSmith Looking like another very good show. Oh BTW - I went down to my usual carwash today and the guys there straight away told me my car was in the local paper (Evening Sentinel) a few weeks ago! I wondered 'oh no what have I done now'..... but it turns out after the the Trentham car show they had an article which featured pics of the Knight Rider car, one of the big Yank cars, a couple others..... and Mine!!! Must see if I can find a copy of that to scan :cool2:

Hey Silverline it is still your ticket (as you asked first) until you can't make it I am sure it will all come out in the wash and TBH it would be good to see you and roobarb both there on the day and make it 8 Zeds in front of the mansion house for some great pics!! Whatever happens I think we will make something of an impact on the show I''m sure already Mandy agrees with that too Rich
