  1. Not sure about the other bit, I only had a few light scratches on the back of one of mine so I used a fine tip black pernament marker on those, then I cleaned with baby wipes (loads of those around with a 18 month about) and restored with this stuff, smells of leather works really well and I was well pleased with it: Link
  2. I think Jeff did a write up on this with engine in, as he fitted some stillen ones for a customer... Ah here we are: LINK
  3. Let the guy who wants to view tonight have a look, if no luck at the airport tommorow, ring him back. That or tell him you will ring him tommorow if the buyer doesn't turn up ...
  4. Congrats to all involved ... Papa Z ... I like it
  5. I ordered a nismo gearbox mount from westcovinanissan which was sent by US mail, no extra duty was attracted on that much to my pleasant suprise :)
  6. Don't accept their first offer, look around and send them ads of similar year/mileage/condition ones to ensure your not short changed, they will up it.
  7. Hard to imagine these sort of places still exist in the modern world, some cool links guys :)
  8. I would suspect at minimum you risk blowing seals, if nothing worse. Smoke from exhaust may indicate its blowing past piston rings ?? Just jack her up and drain some out, won't take long and will save risking it IMO :)
  9. Yep, its the oil thats the working ingredient, but smooth butter works well without making a mess when applied in small amounts and rubbed in ;)
  10. What trucker thought that was a good place to leave his trailer ?
  11. Yep I plan to do that for mine too, deffo the most cost effective way to rejuvinate the door trims :) .... all I have to do is take a brave pill to see if i dare take the slickie's roof trim off to do the same there ! Yep it works a treat for black plastics and rubber, just be sure its the smooth type though !!!
  12. I prefer the swage lines left alone personally, and thats looking good, some pics when its put together and taken in the sun will really bring it too life :)
  13. I am ex dir and listed on the TPS, a short while back I was getting repeated phonecalls from some alleged energy comparison company. The first few I repeat that I am on the TPS, you should not be ringing me selling anything, please remove me from the database. after the 6th one in a couple of days, I was a bit irrate, and told them rather bluntly (but without swearing) to take me off the DB, it made me chuckle as the guy sounded like Omid Djalili as he shouted "no, never!" and hung up ... not heard from them for a few days now ...
  14. Weekend toy here, no way could I afford the juice as a DD (its measured in smiles per gallon when I can run too it, which atm isn't often cos I keep buying things for her :whistling:) I wouldn't fit all 3 kids and the missus in anyhow
  15. As far as I was aware they never sold UK models after '95 ?
  16. That's why the clock swap option is generally preferred (although most expensive lol). I also noted some of the converters I have seen state the odometer racks up in miles, but that's contrary to what most others have experienced :surrender:
  17. Aye, was only the PAS being affected that concerns me.
  18. Hmmm lol bloody japs why do they keep changing things  I was just looking at options to convert my jap clocks to mph, looks like a converter is the best bet then, I understand the odometer will still read kmh with a converter module ? but not too worried about that.
  19. I am aware there is a difference between series 1 and 2 cars, are their other variants too ? I have a JDM series 4 I believe (95) can I straight swap clocks from a series 2 UK or is it all different connectors/fittings ?
  20. Sorry to drop in, but hopefully this will help the OP too ;) I am guessing these aren't worth bothering with ? Ebay link 1 But these would be what you want, and they just plug into existing plugs without any splicing ? Ebay Link 2 Presumably they only replace dip beam, and main is fine as is ?
  21. As a layman, I would hazzard a guess at running too rich on boost maybe ? Nice Vid :) Looked like fun, who was in the chase car ?
  22. Have a good day mate :pint:
