Been a while since one of these polls were done.

As these cars are getting older and petrol prices so high, curious to know if people are shifting more to having them as Weekend/2nd cars, rather than Daily drivers.

Daily Driver/Commuter ?

Weekend toy/2nd car ?

I would say a summer car for me now. use to use it everyday in snow and whatever. But i have noticed all the zeds are rotting away.

So i got the gsi for winter and whenever it rains, so i can try and keep the underneath tip top :)

My previous Zs were daily drivers but I was young and cost of living was pretty cheap so I made the most of it lol.

Now I really like the fact that I can use it at the weekends or just when I want, as I have a company van for in the week.

becks did 100 miles aday in the supra and it use to be about £130ish a week.

Then the little one came so we got the 330D, quicker than the supra and cost about £50 for the same distance :punk:

still getting 32.5mpg -N/A. still not been overtaken. Even took the Zed all the way (without checking under the bonnet first)to Devon- thats trust, that is! about 300 miles from 120K & no leaks or drips. gets left in public carparks at weekends.

Drivers targa roof make a annoying 'cracking' sound over bumps being the only complaint.

2 or 3rd car if you count the missus' clio and my old work van..

Haven't got the work van anymore, but don't do any driving in the uk either, unless I'm back on leave - in which case its Zed time!!

Don't care how much petrol costs - I'm going to enjoy mine before all the petrol runs out :scared:

Mine's a weekend/holiday toy.....

.....nothing to do with fuel consumption/running costs as my daily drive is 3.5 litres and 308bhp. It's more to do with decent low mileage ZXs getting rarer nowadays; so I'd like to keep mine that way.

I just don't want to kill/waste it on the daily commute. But I'm happy to take it on hols and clock up a thousand miles or so each time....

Richard:sorcerer:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
