Are you leaving the wiper on ? Are you putting a tailgate skin on, or a perspex strip (assuming from previous thread its a 99 spoiler your going for) ? Should be a top job judging from the previous work :)

My high level looks to be fixed via 3 screws or bolts each side at the bottom of the hatch. Not sure if there is anymore holding it, as I would like it off ! how do you remove tiger seal, and will that damage the paint on the hatch ?

Ok, so I am guessing for reasons of "completeness" you wanted all 3. In purely practical terms, the black alone would be fine ? I will have to see if my cut key operates the glovebox, no biggie if not but just curious now :) Ah right, I assumed all 300's had remote locking, or at least from a certain year onwards. seems not then ;)

And if Sudesh doesn't mind me jumping in, I assume my 95 import would have had remote locking, can I replace that without paying a fortune at a dealership (not that they are likely to help with imports anyhow) ?

You'll have to explain to us new owners, whats the difference between them all ? The only one I got with my car is a cut one as previous owner lost the originals, I obviously want to get a spare cut in case I lose this one, whats different/special about the black/red/titaniums ?

Am I missing something ? Surely the keys can be cut from blanks at any decent keymakers ?

Prolly more than I can get a set of reps for, so defeats the object for me tbh. I just want de-amber the rear, not particulary fussed about genuine 99's :) Tongue in cheek post really, as I can imagine genuine 99's fetch a good bit ......

Put it this way, I rang about this a while back, I was told it was no more than 2 owners, turns out its 7 after an HPI check. The guy has advertised it over the past couple of months in 2 or 3 different garage names. And different prices. If you want it he will take £1800, but tbh I felt something wasnt quite right so never bothered to look.

It does seem to depend on the company, still some in this day and age won't touch an import which is crazy, others it seems it makes little odds. I think Aqua is close to the mark with their reasoning.

Oh bugger, that's peed on my cornflakes then ! I was hoping they saved money by changing the pod, without changing anything else. Surely redesigning the looms must have been more expensive than using existing ones :confused1: Oh well, I guess I need to look for the temp control knob to put on the end where mine is missing ... :surrender:

Does anyone know if the non digital heater and a/c control pod can be replaced directly with the digital one ? My '95 has the non digital (oddly nissan thought it a good idea to go backwards ?) and I would like to swap over to a digital one if its not a major job !
