Done at zedworld ...have the build pics all looked ok ...don't know why its failed within 500 miles from rebuild ....just staggered and shocked mate ...thought it was sorted once and for all after the Andy Duff fiasco ....now this !!! If there was a prize for most persistent zedder I would walk it !! ( would have to as I don't have a working zed :). )

engine out and engine in and all the fecking on that goes with it......thank god Jimmer has got it

had a chat to Jim, its going to cost a few grand on top of the thousands spent getting it rebuilt only 450 miles ago ......luckily rods and tubs and injectors and IC are ok pistons may be savable but needs new rings and bearings...to replace the accel bearings that have only done 450 miles .....a new gasket set ,etc etc ....to replace teh set only 450 miles old.....seething !!!

cant feckin belive this .....just got an email off Jimmer ...rod bearings toast..collapsed, ..450 mile old wiesco pistons skirts knackered pistons not good , bores scored need re honing this is on a 450 mile old engine re build ....i just want to give up and break it for parts now .....will make a list

Si for your car *( which i adore by the way ) personally i would go for smoke chrome its a very subtle effect but shouts performance , white lettering would look nice or silver

such a travesty that the BBC have not taken such a keen interest in removing the ranks of Kiddy fiddlers actively still employed or pensioned and well known amongst themselves, the whole thing smacks of hypocracy and diverting attention tactics. yes Mr Clarkson was outspoken and controvertial but at least he was in touch with the vast majority of the viewing public. Top Gear will become a chinese copy of itself without him, it will look the same, be cheaper to make but will only last a few months.............

agree on the rear spoiler, love the colour and the finish in general, not too keen on the bonnet or lights ( front and back ) rear bumper is a no no for me...but all in all its a personal zed his zed and each to their own i respect anyone who has his or her own vision, wether it be like Gary or Si , outwardly imaculate zeds and standard until you look closely and see the realy subtle improvements over standard ...or out and out show cars like the beast ...ts what makes the zed community diferent i think to a lot of other car clubs and forums,

could also be a bad earth , causing a high resistance check all the earth connections . common cause is green corroded conectors, ...

from the look of the Milenium Falcon i would say it was caused by sudden oversteer

only had to link out the level switch and it would be job done mate ...its an over flow and will probably never operate anyway in anger

i would skin them alive if i caught them....then dip them in vinegar ....thieving skip rats like that need their knuckles smashing with a sledge hammer feel for you mate hope you get her back asap and in one piece lots to be said for removable steering wheels and hidden kill switches .....

well another update...spoke to Jimmer and after having the crap gearbox replaced, jimmer found the two oil leaks and then a gap in te weld on the brand new PE1420 drivers tubbie ..giving me a massive boost leak..so its all been done, however the not so good news...the compression is well down on 3 cylinders so its an engine out job and a big inspection to find the cause.....hope its the cylinder head or valves .....this is a nightmare. im having 3 inch intercooler peipes made up and fitted while the engine is out ...Jimmer is a top bloke to deal with and i know when i do eventually get it back.............whenever that will be ....it will be right and done for good cant believe the amount of bad luck i have had but those that know me also know i wont give up at all............... gutted steve
