  5. Hi bud , it was stalling constantly and not running as smooths it should and the exhaust sooted up very quickly, but it starts first turn of the key, just wasn't as it should have been, ..chatted with jeff about it the stalling etc etc , but as it was going for a boost upgrade Noel has unfortunately for him had the issues to sort out before he can custom re map it ...top man though really knows his stuff
  6. Noel has had some issues he has had to sort out , only firing on 5 massive over fuelling, rough uneven idle , stalling at junctions ,roundabouts etc so he has had his work cut out , shouldn't be long now though :)
  7. I honestly think the nismos look like cheap multifits with all them holes.........just my opinion of course ..I really like the last ones posted by John p
  8. noel is grafting away fixing boost leaks and clearing fault codes etc .....all good things come to those who wait ....no doubt Noel will post up the results after he has got it all to how how it should be .....watch this space ...
  9. Seious talant and dedication my hat is well and truly off
  10. chris find the flow sensor , take off the connector , clean it, tap the flow sensor, put the blade of a screwdriver on it and tap the handle of the screw driver to shock the flow sensor if it is stuck, turn off the boiler power supply and wait 30 minutes, re instate the flow sensor connector and re energise the boiler, ensure the presure on the gauge is in the green sector , if not then purge with the bypass valve to get the pressure in the green sector, check fault codes , if this is not flow related or working then possibly its the pressure non return valve passing causing the issue Steve
  11. my favourite was Fluke, enjoyed rats and the dark ...great author of fiction,
  12. i dont even have the dates on JAE Gary so cant check against my rota. but would love to go this year car is with Noel (Noz) for a boost re map and final fettle i want to see that depth of shine on yours close up mate,it looks like youve poured liquid glass on it !! i need to get a few polishing detailing tips from you especially for my alloys .... if you ever pop accross on the ferry to Heysham drop in at mine that where i am ..me and Niki will make you and yours most welcome i have the carbon scuttles to fit when i get the car back and the windscreen targa trims to do think our cars would look great side by side .....perfectly standard and nicely modified , both ends of the spectrum :)

  15. watts + Amps x Volts 240v x 5 amps is 1200 watts the higher the amps the thicker the cable needs to be likewise to work out amps if you have only watts watts / volts 1200 watts / 240 volts = 5 amps generally for cookers you need a seperate fused isoation for single oven depending on Ampage / wattage you may get away with a 13 amp fused plug Spend the extra Chris and get an Induction hob not just ceramic ..the savings in electric usage alone will offset the extra initial outlay in less than a year PM me you number mate , i dont have it in my phone ...if your mate is stil going to be kind enough to polish my vandal scratches out when i get back to UK cheers steve
  16. ah yes the midlands .....been there 17 million people with a speech impediment ...................
  17. now now ....you pair of southern shandy drinkers :) :euro: nothing wrong with the north of England...most of the best zeds are up here .......:punk: it will be a while before the car is dynoed eggs , there is a small oil leak to sort, de cats to fit new plugs and sort the erratic runing at tick over out....before Noel can start fettling with the ECU and boost levels.......
  18. What a guy, even though he got stuck in trafic jam , didnt get to mine until 9pm ..struggled for an hour loading the zed.....and then had a three hour drive back to Leicester. ....missus said he was such a nice lad ......hope my father in law didnt talk your ears off mate ..top fella :thumbup:
  19. there will be a colder set of plugs installed by Noz before the re map ...anybody got a dual Maf set up they are selling ? :) or can put me onto a linky linky cheers
  20. A single intake will likely be the limiting factor (again, the exact BHP & corresponding voltage is dependant on engne efficiency), dual intakes free up a lot of power way before this point though. Well, got a bit of work to do first before the dyno. Enough time for one lucky champion to bribe me to produce the figure they want :whistling: yes indeed .... bribes and co-horting ....the guesses will be closed at 7pm tonight ..... HA !! :) interesting mathmatical logic there Noel, ...by the way the petrol tank is probably on less than 10% if you need to put any go juice in it , let me know and i will re imburse obvioulsy, the missus has had instructions to get the kettle on ..drop her a text shortly before you arrive and she will sort you out a nice brew...and a toilet break if you need.... if you think a dual MAF set up is the way to go or if you know of how to reduce the intake restriction let me know mate and we can discuss it ....price etc safe journey Noel and thanks in advance steve
