Well I spoke to Noel, and.............with a new engine not bedded in yet so low compression across all 6 cylinders of 122 psi ish she pushed out 543 bhp at only 1.2 bar , noz said when the compression is right 180 psi I should be seeing 600 bhp Sir charles 1 bhp out .....pm me your address mate .... I'm sure noz will be on later to varify the figure , massive thanks to Noel whos patience knows no bounds

make sure they are quoting for the fairlady if uts an import or 300zxtwin turbo if its uk as i was quoted 137 pounds with flux direct then they came back with oh sorry we quoted for the 300zx single turbo even though they were told it was a 93 ....they then came back with over 650 pounds...all mods declared .....got it all mods declared with performance direct for 320 which i still think is steep for a 53 year old living in sleepy morecambe on 3000 a year ...

i know Jeff he is haunting me ....i have managed to pick up a manual box for 375 with all forks connectors switches and loom so looks like its my next job .... i will I WILL have a zed i can use eventually :)

well another spanner in the works and tribulation of my ongoing struggle to get a road worthy zed .... it appears now that after spending over 2 years at that C*** duffs , it went in fully working and an excellent example and coming back in pieces and canabalised 2 years later , then Jeff salvaging the mess and putting it back together...for another 2 years .it now seems like the gearbox along the way has been swapped for one with knackered planetary gears in 1st 2nd and 3rd .....im fairly certain i picked up the correct gearbox from Duffs there was only mine an StevMochans in and steves was attached to his block i think......absolutely fuming that that sheffield tosspot is still managing to ruin my life 5 years down the line .....my question is ...i may be able to get a manual box from a breaker but its a NA ....are they the same spec as TT box ? arggghhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!! :pinch:

if your moving why would you want to slot it into first ......poor valves !!! second on boost is plenty quick enough ..doing that you will spin it and end up wrapped round a tree

well my zed is with Noz at the moment so may not be able to make it myself ..well not in teh zed anyway.....would hate to turn up in a deisel citroen......god the shame !!

a few things will cause what you have pressure ...., is the clutch dissengaging corrcetly, is the gearbox lined up correctly with the prop shaft, in neutral can you rotate the prop shaft by hand, is the Diff oil full Friction is there anything "extra" in the gearbox making it work harder , did you do any mods to it before or after fitting it..is the oil too thick, try a lighter gearbox oil. lubrication ..is the oil the right weight and level, you say the car seems like it is stalling and you have to rev it hard to get away .....sounds like the gearbox is partialy siezed or the diff is seizing up once you have illiminated the above you should have your answer.

the MG club are running a scarborough to Morecambe run on the 26th May , would be nice for a few north west zed owners to have a meet at the same time in Morecambe on the sea front...any one up for this ??

time to reflect on how fortunate we are to have such brave and selfless hero's putting their lives on the line every minute of the day while on tour and protceting our and others rights and freedoms at the expense of their own mortality, my heart goes out to those effected by this loss and the many others suffered in the past years God speed to those still out there and rest in eternal peace for the fallen my thoughts andprayers are with you, kaza steve

i have one on mine, mate Jeff at zedworld fitted the aero cap give him a call or email him or Jamie or ...drop a pm to StellaZ on here he did his own wide arch conversion im sure, he will no doubt remember ..
