  3. yer i agree with the DW kit, transformed my car from feeling sloppy to predictable. Money well spent..
  4. ha yer i have one at the moment, fuel filler flap is a no for me though bud, never liked them and this perspex strip is the last exterior part that im doing. If it dont look right in carbon ill get it sprayed up i reckon. The Mrs is going mad because i keep bringing car parts in to wrap in the kitchen. Ive told her to zip it of course.
  5. Just wrapped my boot perspex infill strip ready for the car coming back from the body shop this weekend...:w00t:
  6. no way! jesus they will all look the dogs under swingers.. are one of those air fuel? i havent managed to find a good pick up point yet and mine cheapo ones may not be up to much if they are indeed narrow band...
  7. Lol.. I looked all over ebay but none are to my liking (Thanks Jeff). i will keep searching the world. thanks guys
  8. Where can i find a nice chrome "twin turbo" badge? My car is currently having the boot fully smoothed with the perspex strip fitted and a full re-spray and i would like a nice simple looking badge on the rear. Cheers.
  9. sorry to hear this new vijay, thats the thing with these awfull illnesses, sometimes its best to pass away in an instance than to watch them suffer.
  10. looks good that mate!! love the stuff personally its great to work with. i did think of doing the plenum cover but in summer it may peel off when its really hot in there? it only cost £29.00 to do all what you have seen in my posts and i still have some left.
  11. welcome buddy, you will soon spend every spare living minute having a rumage around on here and posting questions. enjoy your time with the forum.
  12. full write up now in How to section, enjoy the read....
  13. full write up in How to section, its a long read but hope you all get the gist..
  14. i almost bit off my tongue it few up that hard, lol
  15. lol thanks guy for the positive comments, i am going to do a full write up and have it made a sticky. I may also start doing some parts for people on here if the interest is there? although i dont know where i would find the time as its very time consuming and if you like me, if it not right or even the slightest wrinkle its not good enough! you can buy the genuine stuff on ebay "3m carbon wrap" make sure its genuine stuff though. It cost £29.00 for half a square meter there abouts. I bought enough to span the roof sections in my other post which i carbon wrapped and did the interior parts with the bit left over. i also plan to cover my rear de-spoilered infill panel in carbon now, orginally the plan was to have it painted but the carbon really does look the nuts.
  16. headlight inserts i havent thought of. the fog light strip would be a bitch to do as its has parts which are set back quite a way. check out my other post in the Z realated chat " i little something i did in the garage" i think its called, i carboned the roof...
  17. looking good mate, the anticipation of wating to hear what it sounds like must be nail biting.. enjoying the posts and updates, keep them coming. buy the way, how did you get your rear centre panel 300ZX red? is it just sprayed on the inside? like it, like it alot.
  18. handshake and welcome Steve.
  19. yer it comes on a roll remus rubble, no i wont be appling resin to it at this stage but what i am going to do is apply a coat of laquer on one of the panels and see how it looks.
  20. i have removed my rear wiper today and motor ready for the boot flush on wednesday and noticed a weight mounted to the opposite side to the wiper motor? i have removed it but whats it for? a counter balance perhaps?
  21. i have spent some "more" time in the garage today and have managed to carbon some carefully choosen interior parts. I plan to cover the blind holder and a rear panel from either side so will post up when i do. Gone extremely well and have now after a full weekend of applying this stuff i have burnt of my finger prints.
  22. yer will take some pics. mine doesnt have the pre-cat, just flange from turbo then complete section and flanged on the out-side of the cat, which makes it look like if i remove the standard down pipes then the cats come off with them.
