  1. Yeah - and u got caught as I put your details in. So you're in big trouble for doing over a ton on the motorway.......
  2. Erm - mate - watch out that the real Veil Side dont see that and go after you for loss of business......I know you say they arnt the real Veilside but I dont think they would be too happy as the name is so close on the URL..... I like the idea though! Good One!
  3. I'm sorry - do you want a long argument or a short one? Its £5 for a long one and £1 for a short one.
  4. You could try some plastic padding stuff - if you dont ever want to use the rad again or drain it using that plug!
  5. Duffer you liar! Unless you have bought a new Z? Theres no way that Gatling gun in the left hand intercooler pod is stock.
  6. I just had Liverpool Victoria for my Jap Import TT 1990 renewal - £670 with £450 excess 7 years NCB no claims etc. This was my cheapest - Direct line wanted £720 with a tracker! Norwich Union where good as you could increase your excess up to £1400! that brought the quote down to £570. Beware some companies that quote you for the Z31 and not the Z32.....they use your registration number and it comes up wrong...
  7. I've used Phil at C&S Wood and he is a top bloke - always has time to chat and does top notch work for reasonable prices. I always take my car there and would recommend him to anyone. H'es just off the A580 East Lancs road at the turning for Astley.
  8. I was enjoying that post - bah!

Mines the same reading - the last mark before the end of the guage at full throttle.

It really depends what type of gap you have...... Why not go for a luxury car - like a Lexus - rather than another sports car - I dont see the point of having a Subaru and a 300zx tbh
  11. Dont be rude! Getting a manual just so it can show you that isnt worth the money. Borrow someone elses MANUAL.......
  12. Check your coil and injector conenctors and loose or have a bad connection - check also the CAS connector for the same.
  13. Ugly - Thats what.

Erm....yeah the chip will cope - the engine might not. Just upping the boost isnt a good idea without having some kind of boost meter to monitor it and having a chip that remaps the fuelling. As for checking the rev limiter and the top speed - without having a new chip in the ECU this wont have changed. as its the ECU that controls this lot. Unless someones re-programmed the original chip you have. Do a search on chips - theres loads of posts on here about them.
  15. So......This says that 'most 300ZX buyers prefer the auto'. Nuff said.
  16. Not heard of that one before - try an ECU diagnostic and an auto box diagnostic
  17. Mine stopped folding in although you could hear the motor trying - I pulled it apart - the hardest part was undoing the 3 screws underneath the mirror - after that it was easy - just take your time - and have some wd-40 and some light oil to clean it all up with. Mines as good as new now. I didnt need to pull any trim off except the outer mirror plastic
  18. Or perhaps he stopped trying at 120?
  19. It is possible to disconnect the nozzles from off the bonnet and take the pipes off - then you can do what you like with them - they just have plastic clips on the underside of them to hold them down on the bonnet.
  20. And then you get the post - that 'My clutch is knackered' and 'my prop shafts busted' and my tyres dont last 5 minutes - this cars crap coz its unreliable. Or someone else buys it and the auto box is shagged......
  21. Matty - Have you thought of reporting him to the Inland Revenue to make sure he pays his VAT?
  22. Mines a J spec - no oil cooler - owned it 5 years - over 100,000 miles - I've put just over 60,000 on it myself and not one problem - gets driven daily to work and back. I think its not a bad thing to fit one - wont do any harm - but its not the rule that if you dont have one it will go boom. Just look after it and dont abuse it. Depends a great deal on who owned it before you got your hands on it.
  23. I used to work for Champion and they brought out a special book called 'The book of lfe' one place that had all the items you would need for your car that they made. Except they had the plugs listed as for an N/A - ie copper pulgs - so I went and told the guy who was in charge of it - he was a bit shocked and to show his thanks he got me a set of plugs equivalent to the NGK for our car - as it didnt list the alternative - result - 6 free platinum plugs from Champion that have been fine in my TT for ages now - nearly time to chnage them though! I'd have to pull one to get the code off it tho! I think it was for a Rover K series engine. But I'll check
  24. Well I obviously didnt pay attention to the wheels when I put them back on as I put each one on the wrong side - so much for the laws of averages - anyway - car runs straight as a die now.
  25. In that case perhaps I should swap them back and see what happens! I wonder - as my front wheels wear on the inside that if they wear at different rates, then the tyre profile has changed - I'll swap them and let you know!!
