TVR vs Z
I had a race against a Cerbera and got completely wasted after a ton.....just disappeared - quite impressive - but mine is stock.

Hicas
Personally - I'd leave it on - you can just disable it and the system locks the rear wheels up straight...... Nissan put it on for a reason - it helps high speed manouvering and stability of the car - take it off for a track day by all means but I'd leave it alone for road driving.

Funny noise
This is common - they are supposed to clear them selves on deceleration - so take it for a spin - stick it in first - cane it and let it free wheel to slow down - you should find it stops gurgling - if not there are ways of curing it so it stops permanently - it involves drilling a drain hole in the valve.

Cracking between Tyre tread.
Arnt Jap spec tyres illegal over here?

Inhibitor switch
I thought the inhibitor switch was only on J-Spec Autos and was the 3-way rocker switch that lets you adjust the way the box behaves? At least it was when I had the part priced at Middlehursts dealers at about £45! I might be wrong tho.....

PETROL Consumption
well I get about 120 miles out of £20 of unleaded driving it to work and back every day - a mixture of country roads and motorway and traffic jams. I get the same with Optimax as well but it does run better. Best I had out of a tankfull was 375 miles on a trip to Luton and back - all M6 motorway. Most impressive. Wasnt dawdling either - 80mph all the way.

wot wud u pay ?
Nelson, if you cant supply pics - then as has been suggested start at about 4.5K as a base model - then if you have ADDED stuff to it to improve it then maybe add a little bit more - or if you REMOVED stuff then deduct a larger amount as people wont want to buy a car with standard gear missing unless it cheap enough to make it worthwhile - or you can fit the stuff back into it to make it up to standard spec again.

Squeaky Wipers!
My tyres also give off a funny squeally noise - albeit while going round corners. Does this mean I go too fast - or not fast enough as theres still some grip left?

Squeaky Wipers!
 Bloody Hell! I leave you lot alone for a day and a half with a squeakly wiper question and look what happens!!! Will try some proper glass stuff and see how that goes - have tried tome rain-x stuff and it has eased it a bit - I bought some at the same time as the wipers....... Now on a scale of 1 to 10 Wipers being 1 my engine has started to squeak - but only between 6pm and 8:30pm but not on Wednesdays - what can I do - sits back, smiles and crosses arms.

Squeaky Wipers!
OK - this is now bugging me.... Ive got really badly squeaking windscreen wipers - just replaced them today as they where getting old and thought that might be the problem but no luck - the new ones squeak as well - has anyone come across this problem and found a fix? Does the windscreen need cleaning with anything special or do I need new wiper control arms or is ther any adjustment I can make??? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Driving to Italy
Spare bits eh? Grin! well before ye go if you havent done these for a while- change or buy spare - fuel filter, air filters, spark plugs, coolant, brake pads, engine oil, spare coolant, brake fluid, spare battery or jump leads/charger!! Take a tool kit. Generally change as much as possible before going as you dont want to hunt for things while there and take spare fluids just in case of a problem! You wont be able to cater for anything big as it could be anything!!! Oh yeah, if its tunedfor higher boost - consider taking it back down to stock levels so you dont stress the car at higher altitudes when the air gets a bit scarce! Join the AA? And leave some space for your luggage LOL!

Advice sought - moving house soon.
Its only a problem if you have both signed an agreement - if you have then he could pay for someone else to shift the items and then charge you and he would win - if its a gentlemans agreement ie verbal then you can do what you like and he cant do a thing against you. and dont give him your new address!

Speeding! CPS? Arse!
All this after the government want us to get involved in tackling thugs - this is the thanks you get and the reason no-one wants to help. Its sad that its safer not to get involved than to try and help out anymore. Good on you Mas for getting something back from them in the end - thats a terrible story. I'l bet what happened with his wrist was the coppers broke it but they wouldnt admit it and thought lets get the other guy for it so we dont get done ourselves.

help with missfire
Could be a fuelling problem - when was the fuel filter last changed - or maybe air filters? they're cheap to replace and if not done for a while its worth doing them anyway. Could also be dodgy TPS not reading pedal travel correctly - have a look at it with a multimeter and see if the voltage change is smooth - theres write ups on here about how to do it - did you do the consult while driving the car - or while idling?

For all the golfers.....
A minister, a doctor and a engineer are playing golf. A group of men are playing golf ahead of them and they are taking an unusually long time. The minister ask one of the caddies who this group ahead of them were. The caddy tells them that the group is a bunch of blind men that the club has allowed to play here once a month. Hearing this the minister immediately says, "I will say an extra prayer for these men at my next sermon." The doctor says, "I will be go back to my office later today and discover a cure for blindness." The engineer then says “Couldn’t they play at night?"
