Does it need taking off completely and refitting? Or is it sliipong when you tighten the screws back up?
  3. I think you are testing the wrong circuit....try the other connector by the TPS - a three wire one - that should give you more realistic values.
  4. I thought the TT's had a drain plug and the N/A's didnt....might be wrong though.
  5. There are some service packs available for version 6 - is it all websites or just some that it has a problem with? Have you got anything set inside the Privacy setting in the TOOLS menu? That specifically has a bearing on cookies seperate from the other settings.
  6. Have you tried upgrading to the latest version of your browser - I've seen programs that complain about cookies even though all the settings are to allow them - try the upgrade and see how that goes first.
  7. Does anyone have any pictures of which hoses to disconnect to fit a hose pipe to so that I can back flush the system? I want to run a flush product throught the system but not if I cant back flush it to make sure I've got it all out.... Ta.
  8. nope - had the discs off and checked them out - pad material is fine.
  9. can no one help me - am I doomed forever? the shame, the shame! perhaps I could stir some interest by cunningly hiding it inside a brake pads question?

Erm - that looks quite nice - Because there is no spoiler to er spoil it - changes the lines of the car completely....very nice indeed.
  11. I reckon me and SRRAE have used the same place in Bolton - Thistlethwaites tyres - very good and friendly service - took 45 mins and u get the before and after printout to keep - made a hell of a difference to both the handling and general drivability of the car - I was trashing the inside edges of my tyres but should be fine now! Highly recommended.
  12. All, my handbrake questions continue - after having adjusted the star wheels the handbrake is still out of balance on the drivers side being far too weak - I'm now thinking it needs a new brake cable - first - how much is one and second how hard is it to fit one? and third - is thare any adjustment for the balance of the cable apart from at the brake handle as this wont adjust any more.... Thanks.
  13. oh - you did - sorry!
  14. Name and shame please - make it sticky so we know who to blame for this mess.
  15. heh - mine must be kanckered then - it takes about 5-6 clicks - I cant adjust the cable anymore than it already is....
  16. does anyone know a good way to test the strength of each wheel - it failed its MOT on this and I dont want to turn up for it to fail again and have to stump up all over again!
  17. hi all, trying to do the handbrak eadjustment - what does the star wheel look like that I'm meant to turn? any pics? Thanks.
  18. at the risk of sounding a bit off - this has been answered on here loads - try a search!
  19. They did that on the road I work in and they had a field day - they where pulling people all over the place......And arrested one or two as well. Checks the car details to see if everything as it should be. If not - the cops furhter up the road pull you in.
  20. It might be worth running a good fuel system cleaner through a tank of fuel.
  21. How much memory have you got? When it pauses, does the hardrive light show lots of activity? How much stuff have you got loading up at startup?
  22. Check the Auxilliary air valve - I assume it has got one as its injection? When these dont work - they can fire up and then die as its not letting extra air into the system - but the car would run fine when fully warm......Just a guess of course.
