I've just used BlackCircles.com and they where great. I used to use Pemberton Tyres but have had far too many problems to ever go back again.
  3. It feeds down and pushes onto the bottom of the overflow tank - you can get to it by removing the inside wheel arch guard - its only a few screws.
  4. You could maybe try some flexible braided hose - I'm sure this has been mentioned before as it was V expensive.
  5. I'm ashamed - Just been there and found my answer....3/8 at 8mm I wasnt sure if I needed any hose menders but it would seem that I can attach right at the hard lines which is a better option. I think I'll be ordering today....
  6. Does anyone know what fitting these 2 hoses are that go to the radiator? Are they 5/16 8mm or 3/8 10mm ? Many thanks y'all
  7. I'd never be confident to have cleaned it perfectly and any old debris still lurking is bound to come loose over time.....Nar - its really not worth the risk on that one.
  8. The only thing with the Z centre one is how to get it cleaned out from the engine oil - I'm not sure I'd believe you could ever get it clean enough not to contaminate the fluid as its got quite a strong detergent action.....
  9. All, I'm going to get a cooler fitted for the transmission - I kow lots of people have done this - can anyone let me know how much it cost - where they got the parts from - whether they bypassed the standard cooling or used it in-line. I'll be doing this imminently so all suggestions welcome. Ta :duffer:
  10. Seeing as you have started - you might as well finish it - its bound to make at least a bit of difference even if its not noticeable when driving.
  11. I go past a load of bus stops when I get near work and all the kids stop and point as I drive past - it gets a bit embarrassing sometimes. I always laugh when a kids with his dad in his car and sees mine and points and stares and you just KNOW his Dad wants him to shut up and sit down!
  12. Its either me or some jubilee clips are of naff quality - I've gone through 2 in as many days - I tighten them up once and then after that they slip if you try to re-do them so they become useless!!! Good job I had a spare. rant over.
  13. Well I bought some for the rear and although at first they seemed a bit wayward - they are now scrubbing in and he grip is coming in.
  14. Just got a set of new tyres for the rear - car feels odd for handling and a bit leery!!! Whats the rule of thumb for bedding them in to remove the coating thats on new tyres?
  15. And every time you need to rebuild the PC coz windows has gone belly up - you have to install ALL that lot all over again. Wonderful.
  16. I've put Iridiums in mine - they seem to do the job. No more - no less. You pays yer money and takes your choice. My car is stock.
  17. Take the cover off the top of the engine and see if they wires are connected firmly in place.
  18. I think the usual method is to buy a few sets of decreasing sizes from 1.4 down and see which seem best for you.
  19. Could just be damp conditions
  20. Stock is around 9 PSI already - 7 PSI is safety boost. If you are going to try boost jets then buy a boost guage so you can measure what you have - otherwise you run risks with the engine. You will get an initial spike then it will settle down a bit.....You need to make sure the spike isnt too high and the stock guage wont really help you enough.

That and when you see a camera you spend more time watching the speedo than the road - which is more dangerous than being 2 mph over the limit IMO
  22. Erm - the reading your dash gets is not from the big yellow sensor - thats for the ECU - the one I assume you want is the little black connector right next to it....

They've put a load of these on the A59 from the Junction where I live down to Rufford - They are good for checking your speedo!
