  3. We've topped 30, let's hit 50 cars guys that's a real proper number. Probably the south biggest Z meet of the year. Get yourself down. Pre meet cruise is set to be announced as is a new addition this year for 300zx club members exclusively of a choice between a country pub dinner, a new forest car treasure hunt or a BBQ limitations will apply to this event.   4. There's probably two full days labour in it but I'm short on a few parts etc. Got to wait for pay day to finish up a few bits. I might have it back on the floor running by then, might but I'd still need to get the MOT and Alignment sorted.
  5. Do it warm mate, that's the way with a compression test. If your looking at assessing a motor you can run, in storage etc then a leak down is what you want.

  15. Yup, that's the one. Oh well I figured it out myself in the end. :lol: hopefully this reduce the crashing on the front end, rear was always good.
  16. This morning I switched the front brake pads out for some Evo OEM Brembo ones, so that's matching pads and discs all round now. Investigated this upper camber arm issue. It appears that the arm indeed has been catching the mount, you can see the witness marks. The arms themselves are longer one end creating a natural larger clearance one end. So I swapped them round, this created about 3" extra travel. Not sure how I missed this on install but far happier now. I pulled the struts to allow me to move the corner freely and left them out as I've got some lower rated springs to switch in. Intercooler ducting is now complete. Slipped some 15mm spacers on the back which gave me that much needed clearance to fit the wheels over the caliper. The end is though I need new wheels, lighter, wider and a better offset. Slow progress but we are moving forward.

  18. I dont know how fast they are to Norway but I'm always shocked how fast stuff comes from Z1. You will want an updated clutch, stock candle handle much more than 320 fwhp, new they have more strength but yeah not worth it.
  19. I didn't end up checking :lol: battery is flat at the moment and I've been doing all the other bits to the car.

  21. Just double checking myself as I'm sure I'm binding on the FUCA tonits mount. Have I cocked the instal up on these? I know there's a set way to fit them (which I can't find) I'm sure I researched it but you know...
