  3. as above its the hicas solonid. you could remove it and do a hicas delete on the rear while your at it.
  4. its most likly a dirty speed sensor, or a poor connection on a speedo converter if yours is an import. mine does it when its wet and yuck if i use it too much, once i hit about 50 it pops back in. and stays working.
  5. ive mailed japspeed hoping they will have a pair knocking aboput.
  6. balls i looked at the service manual and came up with that answer aswel. so what no as they are without the front bits essentially fecking useless.
  7. http://www.japspeed.co.uk/Nissan-300ZX/Nissan-300ZX/Nissan-300ZX-Turbo-Decat-Downpipes/p-18-1-248/ thats what ive got but ive only got the long bit not the elboe. will they fit up to the standard elbow?
  8. im not sure wht ive got but on comparison to stock they dont look right. the standard front pipe has a 90 degree bend at the end, the japspeed about 45 degrees im confused? hav ei got non tuirbo ones? none of this is on the car atm btw.
  9. its when im on the dually stuck behind a lorry and ive built up enough steam to overtake but ****ers hogging the outside lane for traveling in stop me from being bale to pull out so i just have to sit there grrrrr
  10. 18s. 19s in my opinion give to smaller sidewall profile. and 17s are too small, however it has to be said the stance or offset settings etc are far more important than the actual diameter. the stock 16s can look great when spaced out :)
  11. no hassle in zed EVER. van omg people really dont make life easy, and in my mrs little town car life can be quite difficult.
  12. yup im a little confused myself, one of them im sure that was the reasoning, and im sure one company i tried wanted me to be be 30
  13. jap spec is 225/50r16 all round, uk spec is 225/50r16 front 255/50r16 rear. hope that helps bud.
  14. i have the first ones lol. may sound different once there fitted then lol :)
  15. lynbrook and footman both said no to me. im 25 4 years ncb second car owned it for 3 years its garaged in my garden the hang up was the fact it was jap i believe im currently paying £700 a year which looking at some of your prices is disgusting. im with flux atm because sky could no longer give me fiully comp with the ability to drive other cars but i wont need that fater next year anyways. think i need to have an even bigger look around when i renew.
  16. just watchjed yours dave mine sounds gash compared to everyone elses :(
  17. ive got japspeed decatts, just havent fitted them yet. what set of other decats you reffering to as the ones i have from japspeed link from the centre section the the back of the tubs
  18. Ive got japspeed rear with the standard front pipes including the cats and it sounds nothing like that. No warble is that cos of the cats?
  19. 750 you probally couldnt convert to a tt for that cash. Chop chop
  20. yes dave were right.
  21. why bother, yes its been done. been done a few times in the states. i know everyone bumbs the rb blocks, but really theres nothing so much better about them that they can superseed the vg. i know the vg is tight and i know theyre a pain at times but thats cos there old. spend what your thinking of spending on that skylark block on your vg and you will have made far more power and the same realiability. the orginal fairladys had straight 6s they got vs for a reason. just my opinion of corse.
  22. ive also found this, much better at 80 than 70 odd.
