  1. you running stock internals? with over 20 psi the t28s and 600cc injectors? can i ask how much roughly it cost to do it all?
  2. Stuff like this annoys me, good luck.
  3. no but theres two so im guessing they didnt both blow, unless theres a dedicated fuse which has blown.
  4. i dont think we can be friends
  5. trouble is even if the mazda is a higher group if you get a fiesta or saxo etc etc you will most likely pay the same if not more due to the statistics. moronic little boys drive those cars there boy racer cars so they are more expensive to insure. believe or not my capri used to cost me less than most of my friends little hatches, and my zed was less expensive to insure than my daily driver 1.2 corsa.
  6. my electrical skills are pretty basic atm, how do i preform a continuity test? what setting do i need on the multimeter?
  7. my cars red :/ id prefer it black....
  8. that actually makes me sick
  9. well as many of you know my engine is out atm, the engine bay is looking nice the guffs been removed like aivs etc all the dross is removed from the block like the egr etc. nice shiney rebuilt t25s bolted back on and im virtually ready to put the engine back in. So heres the problem. my reverse lights stopped working shortly after the manual conversion, i assumed that was because the connection had come off, well it hasnt. trouble is i cant test the switch again because the loom is disconnected from the car. atm pulling the box out is easy peasey, because its only held in by the box mount and the prop, so pulling it out atm makes loads of sense. so short of putting the engine in, and testing it finding out it doesnt work then pulling the box out the hard way later. what do i need to hook up to check the functionality? and is the switch on the box changeable? i think its probally more iklety the connection to the switch rather than the switch but still... sugestions please this is a big bug atm i nee dto rectify before i pop the engine bcak in and get the big red demon back again.
  10. dont be unfair to yourself your car is a nice purple, comparing it to yellow, the second worst colour known to man bar orange is an insult. yellows so shit it ruins red enough to make orange yuk yuk yuk. haha
  11. yeah that was mikey beans i was parked next to him.
  12. Its not a gtz is it? The stillen one got an intergrated chin spoiler?
  13. Probally is a grown up lol any kid who can afford all tgat or parents can doesnt need it to be worth more. Lego is damn expensive.
  14. :( sadly it is true. were struggling a bit here atm at home and fookers born here and imigrant alike are living the life of riley. god it makes me angry
  15. just take a tape measure and measure from the tyre face to the lips outer edge. that way it will fill it without poking out, or hanging back inside the arch and looking like a queer hatchback.
  16. Mikey knows how to.use a spanner, if you include how to blow up an engine in that.
  17. yeah and ahh that picture helps i assumed it bolted onto the turbo housing, that why it didnt fit there then.
  18. no i mean the little piece of sheet metal with the acuator or solenoid on, what they bolt upto had a quick look at them this eve and neither side seems to want to go on. :s
  19. dont suppose you know where the actuators go do you mark?
  20. Check for spark as above. Check for fuel ohm the injector or do jimmers trick. Compression test. If you have all the above timing is the only variable.
  21. I was thinking that too tudor but whats it emulsified with? Requires further inspection
  22. Oh dear tommy! Thay doesnt look good think nb you needvto get tgat plug out and get that cylinder compression tested. Hows things anywaysm habe you fitted tgevstillen?
  23. very serious reply. a friend of mine sorted out through her job for her dad to go out in a rally car, on the road between rally stages. unfortunatly they ****ed up lost it and hit a bridge sideways, he was in and out and touch and go for a while and now she is his carer, as he cannot do much himself. that was a full caged out fia approved rally car. ive also seen rally cars with my own eyes hit a tree at a fair whack roll etc and the driver walk away with simply a bruised ego. its partly luck of the draw no matter how tough the car and its safety shell are. i believe and do quote me on it, but a hell of alot of potential damage is done to the human body from the rapid deceleration of hitting an imovible object. regaurdless of wether is crushes you or not, hence the design of crumple zones etc etc. zeds a re built strong they do protect the driver pretty well with the safety shell. sadly though a side on impact is a different kettle of fish. if hed of been on the other side he would of been dead almost instantly i recon.
  24. just dont forget the steering rack.... :)
