  1. I do agree with you there simon, im allergic to orange in any and all forms its a pet hate! However when smoked slightly to hide the amber and only give it when the side markers are on, it gives quite a pleasing look. Tint the damn things if your gonna fit them.
  2. That's what I thought, as well as the person it's written by isn't just some "think he knows" so the information is nice and reliable.
  3. Below is a link to tt.net it outlines the 6 ps, with pictures. It's written by ash one of the best zed heads in the world. Ideal for newbies to the z32 who want to give there car a health check. http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=922678&forum=technical&dtSearch=0

Too many people forget the Internet isn't real life. Yeah I'm on here a lot but I do a lot of waiting, both at work and in my own time. I'm currently sat behind my rods on this beautiful evening waiting for the rod to wrap over. This just fills some time between bites.

Mate the most popular website in the world currently, is a bunch of people letting us know what they had for breakfast. Not content with this they now photograph it for you! This should not surprise you.
  8. I'm not easily impressed by super cars these days, but the aventador is something else. If you haven't seen one yet I urge you to seek one out and peer through the layers of glass over engine bay, observe the sheer functionality of the thing. Honestly they are like a spaceship. If you get the chance to hear one in real life holly he'll they sound awesome.
  9. As said by gaz and joel measure the disc thickness, that Is the decided factor, discs with a lip can be machined back flat but its the thickness that would be taken into consideration as the official life of the disc itself.

Upto speed now, things have been going very well I thought and I think its great to see you posting over here about things. Your input is greatly appreciated, as are your projects. It would be a shame to fall out over something so trivial. Your participance over here is a great step forward to being able to have meets occurring between both groups and a united scene.

    I've def missed something
  12. Well the quotes I heard he was referancing 23 year olds, I obviously know lots of percuilar people then. If in the as it seems that I am wrong , the young are thick and lazy, then of corse it's the direct fault of the education system and parents. Sadly you reep what you sow. Which by extension lays the fault and equal parts of laziness square on the laps of the parents of this "lazy generation". That is certainly a fact gentleman.
  13. I'm getting through sooo much screen wash in my van ATM lol
  14. Fair comment mate, but that's not exclusive to the young is it? Every shop you go in the sales assistant sees you as a chore. But I Spose you pay peanuts you get monkeys. I still retain most people want to work, and earn. If you have ever spent any time involuntary unemployed you will know how shit it feels.
  15. No I wasn't in support of it. I believe university should be the preoccupation of the educational elite, not a prerequisite to every time dick and Harry, as it currently is. Ask yourself if theyvwere career driven professional students would they have had time to protest? no they would have been at work like the rest of us. The vast majority of young people are ready and willing to work, slandering the majority because of the few is pathetic.
  16. Like I just explained to you it's more to do with the variance of the metals proprieties rather than its strength as such. Cast alloy and the Ali that would be welded in are different. Not to mention te effect that would be had on the spoke by the extreme localised heat from the welding process. If you welded it, the first little pot hole you tapped would probably re crack it. If that happened at motorway speeds or higher you may or may not find yourself unhappy, I say may not because you may not survive long enough to be unhappy.
  17. How long do we have left of these replies jeff before you vacate the country?
  18. Who else has heard this buffoon today slandering the British youth? Apparently were all lightweights and not worth employing. He has done loads of work for the young but suddenly there's a turn round and he is encouraging people to employ forging workers as they work harder. Not cool. Sure there are some lazy buggers about but hell with the parents most of these kids have got, the professionally unemployed they have hardly had the best work ethic instilled. Youth unemployment is at a real high atm, there are economic reasons for this. Most will testify that most want to work. My girlfriend fired out 100s of cvs in an attempt to even get a bar job for months, without avail whilst people who can barely speak the lingo get employment in those same jobs. That scenario combined with the bad press the young get is a real soul destroyer. Being turned down for the most basic jobs as well as being slandered by the press has is a serious effect, the weaker members of these groups soon loose heart. To have a youth ambassador, someone who's supposed to be on your side make these comments is a real kick! It also needs to be born in mind that the current youth is a product of the previous generation. The poorly educated are this because of the education they have received and the counter scenario of job snobbery is also about the education system. From age 5 kids are brainwashed into the get good grades get a good job, so the expectation is if you get the right bits you should get what your expecting, sadly no longer the case. Those that cannot for fill the statistics are simply cast to one side. This causes the following minorities, over qualified idoit's degreed up with no common sense and a group that gave up on themselves slightly after they were given up on. The majority of young people however are as hardworking as anyone else and frustrated about progressing on with their lives. I work with several guys of my age and we all do a minimum of 50 hours a week often more like 70. So Mr. Oliver you can feck off, do not include me or the majority in your harm full and small minded comments. Thanks for the help MATE, dousche bag.
  19. LOl yeah rx8s are crap my dad had one, stock for stock I walked past him. His average fuel consumption was near half what I could manage and the overall build quality was poor, surface rust on a fairly new car isn't a good start! He seemed to enjoy it but he couldn't justify the economy. 14mpg on a modern car is dire! So its gone. pics of the proper sports car now please.
  20. Not to mention this is a cast wheel, cast metals are notoriously hit and miss to weld. When you weld it you will change the material proprieties in that section, this means that when put under stress (bumps even heat)it will react differently to the rest of the wheel. This is a recepie for another fracture. Sorry to say but I think you would be bonkers to weld it.
  21. I'm glad you brought this up Paul. What exactly has been done thus far by anyone? Just so we don't repeat things.
  22. It tends to indicate that injector has failed.
