Hi from a Capri nut who is just about to become a Fairlady nut
Welcome this was my 82 cameo with a 205 pinto running 130rwhp. Sold it on about 5 years ago, to get the fairlady. The two are like night and day. Id love another capri one day, but I wouldn't have one at the expense of the zed. Good luck buddy you may find you've got to push it a lot harder to achieve the same feeling as its so much more solid in the way it handles. Genuinely fantastic car the z32 is.

Burst Water Hose!! Arrgghh
Pop to machine mart and get yourself the pack of 3 12" needle nose pliers. There's so useful for this kind of thing. Check what it connects to and if possible replace the whole section...if it split once...see what I'm saying?

Burst Water Hose!! Arrgghh
The heater hoses at the rear are quite expensive but necessary as they are a premolars shape. The turbo coolant lines good quality water hose will be fine, brought by the meter. Throttle body coolant pipes can be bypassed. So it's merely the heater matrix, main rad pipes and two little hoses that hide behind the top water pipe on the front of the engine. The rest is simple cheap stuff. Have a chat with sfs mention your from here and you will be laughing. Take the oppertunity to change your stat and flush the coolant system, including the rad. This will make excellent headway and prevent the impending my engines overheaded and died thread.

£2-3000 on a car, whats it to be?
Tbh the mr2 or an mx5 are going to be ideal reliable fun small sports cars. Ok the mx5 isn't the quickest but they are fun, that's the important thing.

Burst Water Hose!! Arrgghh
As above alternatively throttle water pipes or turbo water lines. If your still running the 20 year old water pipes crack on and change the lot, I bet they are brittle and rotten.

Porn...
I knew what car you were talking about before I even clicked the link. I too personally prefer the old wheels, the new set up is silly. But this car is all about the euro look, shaved and slammed. It's not built for being a monster it's an na.

Ecu faulty?
You didn't over tighten the ecu when you fitted the impul did you? Also is it that much of an issue? Just unplug the aux your not going to want or need it tomorrow. You can always reconnect in the pits to give you some extra cooling. Pulling the aircon relay will do the same job.

Driving licence
Yup, I read it first as car based vans or vans able to carry upto 3.5 tonne. Transit connects and caddys are excluded as they can carry 2.2t. I guess it's down to the camera operator, how we'll they know the regs and weather noticed I was a van rather than just another car. 2007 that law slid underthe mat for anyone wondering.

Driving licence
50k miles a year and only 3 points in 10 years. Sadly I think I got done today 69 in a 70.... We will have to wait and see what turns up in the post. Turns out my car durrived van doesn't qualify for te 70 limit, as it is able to weigh 200kg over the 2k weight limit. A heavy great landrover however is allowed to do 70 :s load of *****x.

'Heavy' steering
You don't get the hicas warning light illuminate? Go and lubricate the uj and see if it helps.

Best mod I've done.
I do heel toe my zed a lot, I always match the revs on the downshift. I honestly haven't had an issue, my biggest issue is the clutch is, even with the booster a bit heavy to really pop it.
