  1. Well mate it's hard to help when we dunno the issue.
  2. Yeah it's only the egr and water bypass that are much easier with the plenum off. Aiv etc come it really easy.
  3. Delete the Aiv, etc aswel that removes so much crap.
  4. Pretty sure they are 14mm plugs which is something like a 16mm socket.
  5. Letting jeff give it a health check is a great start mate.
  6. You can always cut the erg lines, bung up the hole in the manifold and isolate the vac line. Good news you got the plenum off though mate.
  7. You'd be better off speaking to an exhaust shop. I think a quad tip would work well with that bumper
  8. Pretty sure you've gotta triple plate Ali anyway, more to it. For pas pots etc though could be good.
  9. Or do you have too much torque for that box these days lol. Mine had about as much ability to transfer the power as a bowl of porridge towards the end.
  10. Having converted I can honestly say a z32 with an auto box is a z32 wasted. The autobox maks the car feel heavy, sloppy and removes confidence in handling. Going manual instantly improves your confidence and the cars response, it allows you to know the savagery it's capable of. Conversely though, the auto is smooth as glass. Even on snow I could pull away without drama. I would love an automatic daily, changing great in traffic gets tiresome. My auto did have a habit of changing down when the wheels were spinning which was a bit scared and not helpfull. In its finial days it would struggle to make up its mind which gear to select before finally struggling to put any power down with what I can only describe as clutch slip for want of a better word. Going manual turnt my car from a placid rocket into a hooligan fighter jet.
  11. Says and looks turbo mate...

  13. Yeah way over priced. Depending on how clean the underside was etc 1k max no tax no mot = no test drive so it's an unknown basket case.
  14. That was my pin up for years! Always promised myself one. My father in law had a 78 for a while, which is probably as close as il get now.
  15. I'm all for shiney cars, but personally Id rather see function over form any day of the week.

  17. Ha yeah I blew my Capri engine up twice and ate a gearbox. It NEVER came home on a tow truck though, even on two cylinders I got it home lol.

  21. I find you go through spats, my old van I have three dinks in as many weeks. A branch I could see(no rear windows) I tagged the side due to a bloody coach left in the way and I knocked the mirror on a bus in traffic. Then didn't so much a breath wrong on it for about three years.... Weird ey
