    Welcome :)
  3. There not even legs, some ones hollowed out a pair of kebab meats and turned them into chaps.
  4. I must admit Russ you do have the calves.
  5. Maybe have a look at what is suitable and realistic for you. Having a highly tuned engine can be great, it also comes with drawbacks. I know you want to be faster than your mate, but 400 on the road is worth 800 constantly in bits if you see what I'm saying. The best weapon against any supra owner is there belief that it's the fastest car Eva blud
  6. Nothing quite like a slickpete reply.
  7. BA=Big Ass I believe, yeah the 2.5" ones.
  8. I wouldn't worry too much about auto and manual engine differences. Mine made 283 virtually stock and there were issues lol. If your converting auto to manual your first go at home with hobby grade tools available I'd bargain for a few days graft on it. It's not complex it's just time consuming, changing the box is the straight forward part. If you don't know off the top of your head or have the information to hand it will slow you down ALOT.
  9. Terrible shame when this happens. I did hear that this particular case they managed to tow it back to deeper water where it fully recovered. The tag fell of in the South Pacific where it was thought to be feeding on massive krill blooms.
  10. This is where simon tells us he is friends with Miranda Kerr...
  11. Where did you get that? Sounds ideal.
  12. This is where I am now;
  13. I joke of corse, that wareham forest about 10 minutes up the road. TBF though, we are surrounded here by heathlands, woodlands etc. Infact I'm over the back at present with the dog and have spent this morning bankside.
  14. My garden.
  15. Just because the feed to the vac feed will no longer be directly next to the turbo and if the gate was letting by it would come out there rather than in the exhaust(iirc his are vented to astmosphere) I don't know how they are laid out, I can't say XYZ because personally I wouldn't know. So I've commented on what I do know, there's an input and output pipe the rest I can't say anything so I didn't.
  16. This might be of use to you, just found it via google; http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4173528-DIY-Rebuilding-BBS-RS-RM
  17. Been like that last few days round here, melts within a few hours of the sun being up though.
  18. I'm not sure that compressor will be large enough? You only need 5psi but you need a good volume of air. Someone else might be able to clarify this. As for your leak, you've got those greddy turbos haven't you, with external wastegates? The same applies that there's an in and and out that could be loose. As you say you will just have to get under and hunt.
  19. Whys that? As long as it's done properly I can't see why there would be an issue? My mate has rebuilt at least two sets of BBS split runs like that on the kitchen table lol.
  20. 3.5k is a reasonable price to pay for a mechanically and structurally sound Z, if you want something spot on and of high quality a long wait and a budjet of 5k or so would be sensible. A few have come up for sale over the last year or two for 6-10k I could tell you wether they are worth that I haven't viewed them. There are certinatly a hand full of cars in this country that are worth 10k, they arnt for sale though.
  21. Sounds a bit cheap? What's the body condition like?
  22. You not worried about over loading the wiring with 100w main beams tony?
  23. Ohhh, I get you now. You fitted HIDs to the dip beam, they weren't as bright as you expected. You fitted uprated halogens to the full beam which you were very impressed with, so tried some in the dip beam and the problem of them not bring bright remains. So you want to know if there is a supply fault?
  24. Everyone seems to be confused by what your asking. Maybe you need to try to explain again, I can't make much sense out of it myself.
