  1. Been there. Everyone else's narrow little track left in the snow making the zed grapple and track, the snow thumping as it bumps off the underside and a trail of steam as the snow melts on your exhaust. Not to mention I had to drop into neutral to stop it spinning up on anything other than a modest bend, never again lol
  2. I'd listen to this chap, he knows a think or two about the subject. I might be so bold as to say that a proper tube will net you greater results and reliability than an off the shelf chip. Were you looking at Z1s "400hp package"?
  3. I've had that, had to go pay the tax before they would hand the goods over.
  4. Exactly that, in Travis Perkins you expect it but in B&Q you would not.
  5. MJP is a great resource as he has a huge knowledge base to help and he's very reasonable. Sometimes it's worth enquiring at the main dealer, sometimes, there often not very helpful and often rather expensive but many bits are available next day. Can be a life saver for basics like oil filters etc.
  6. Really grinds my gears when websites advertise prices excluding VAT only to sneakily slap it on later. You can't do it in a shop why the hell is is it acceptable on the internet.
  7. Normal ones are down to a tenner and the low profile jacks are down to £35, shopping tomorrow :)
  8. Do they lock off properly? Just I've never used "ratchet" ones before, just the usual pin type.
  9. Lol, I think we can finish the list of crap places now Si
  10. I was actually considering using the small bulb holders from a spare speedo cluster I've got.
  11. So the current ones can't be modified?
  12. Ahh at the office? Beaminster is where I'm off to specially, I'm in Congresbury in the morning. Might be a long day haha.
  13. Is there an oem sidemarker that lights up? Or do you/ can you mod the non illuminated ones?
  14. I'm up near you tomorrow actually Si. Only for the morning though got a job in west Dorset in the afternoon.
  15. Mid and north wales are beautiful, as is Cornwall and the wilds of Scotland, quite similar topography I think is the word. So many people go "oh Britains shit, no nice bits" those people have obviously never explored the bits that haven't been ruined are amazing.
  16. TBF I haven't been there for about 10 years. Remember that phrase, "that sh!t is Newport" meaning it's grotty lol.
  17. Do you love all of Wales? I bet there's a place or two you don't :p
  18. Is this the American reporter who declared that Birmingham is a no go area for whites? I've been to Birmingham once or twice :whistling: it is probably my second least favourite place in the whole country. I think I'm quite open about my number one most disliked place. I think tbh though there is a quite a list of places I really don't like, not just in England. The trouble is I'm spoilt where I live, it's genuinely one of the nicest parts of the country, it's got some rubbish bits like everywhere but from the villages in the Far East of the new forest right down through the various towns and villages all the way to lands end are some fantastic views and beautiful little places. Heavy population densities always bring grime and unsanitary grimness. Human beings are a dirty creature, the more of them there are in one place generally the worse of a place it is, sad but true. I like fresh clean air, deserted woodland and beaches. I get to go all over the place and I'm always glad to come "home" even if the part I live in isn't the creme de la creme it's still pretty alright.
  19. How does this work when your buying second hand goods from over seas, say you went to buy a set of injectors from the states how can the government differentiate between a gift and a purchased good? I never pay import from china but have been stung from America before.
  20. Wicked I'm going to do mine as well.
  21. My belief is that the more shows in an area the better, you might not get record attendance at a particular event but the freedom of choice for people is good. Maybe some people are working over the JAE period etc. As Gary says send your REO a PM he might be unaware of that particular event, there not all very well promoted, if he doesn't know he can't know to arrange it.
  22. I would also love to hire that :)
  23. I think the change to the fuchsia pink belts like the pic you sent me earlier is a bold choice Si, but it's your car.
