  1. Either way mate. Top two are easy if you have the knack. Have you got your turbo elbows on already?
  2. May be worth speaking to sfs
  3. That's his rear engine conversion.
  4. Alright alright it's not a meat loaf revival.
  5. That's how I read it. Does this help?
  6. You can get new aero catches cheap enough, I don't think that bonnet adds anything anyway (aside from weight) IMO of corse.
  7. Swish! https://www.z1motorsports.com/popup_image.php?pID=4314&osCsid=4f9mpmr1n5e75cfs4ligde3646&imageNum=3
  8. Agreed, mine was despoilered when I got it, just looked odd.
  9. Series 4 or 99 spec, or a low level aftermarket, retain a stockish feel which retains flow of the overall design but something a little more substantial than the 89 as that's quite subtle. A series 4 (horse shoe) IMO would be best. Best of all it will be a cheap option for that car.
  10. That what I was thinking or the Vtc ones, they tend to leak. Mine did the half moons rotted or shrunk and had to be replaced. Did it when the engine was out.
  11. Agreed, with some fore thought you can achieve the same thing by changing the design so it's like the one of a z33
  12. I'd love something like that to beat on in the winter, can't justify three vechiles all to myself though.
  13. Where exactly do you mean? Also are you 100% sure where the leak is coming from?
  14. For simplification terms then, ie de cluttering it's acceptable in your opinion to bin the stock knock sensor and it's associated wiring and bypass it's function?
  15. Am I the only the one know doesn't like them?
  16. we got our dog roughly the same time as my best mate, that stage when they could run but not brake was hilarious. A snauzer and a field spaniel crashing into the walls and all over the place. We used to call him the drift dog, sliding on the laminate.
  17. Well done mate, always a great thing to give these dogs a second chance. Don't forget he's probably faster 0-40 than your zed lol, bloody rapid animals.
  18. What did you get yours from? And hope did you address the rail issue?
  19. I must admit the thought of swapping out my heavy stock electric seats for something light. I love them but they do weigh as much as a planet.
  20. Il be there, track session too please.
  21. Seconded. I appricate the picture might be generic however whilst the rears look right the fronts look like wrong.
  22. That or snip off a tiny bit and take it with you. To me that looks like someone's removed an electronic boost controllor prior to sale. Might be worth tracing what is there to work out what you've got. I've the controllors missing and that's all they have done you will have to change configuration to make it work properly again.
  23. Only if his name is brown? Well James brown died in 2006 Noel, so I think you're shit out of luck! :p Welcome back jimmer.
  24. Nice, something that is on and off my list constantly.
  25. Well without a lot more information, this is based on what you have provided. Rough price guidelines for a 2+2 TT in fair condition are IMO; 2+2 auto £2.5-3k 2+2 manual £3-3.5k What you've got is the least desirable twin turbo platform, with hard top 2 sweaters being the top of the tree and 2 seater targas the next run down. The evidence of rust will suggest further deep rot most likely, in the sills etc. UK models are subject to this with years and years of British weather, whilst they can be deserable they are often avoided for other reasons. Historically Uk cars were desirable for insurance purposes but this is no longer an issue. Turbos being rebuilt 50k ago is kind of a moot point. Based upon the information you've given and without photos I'd expect it to be worth about £2k maybe less if your in a hurry to move it on, that rust is a real deal killer for most. This might seem harsh but I'm only trying to be realistic and fair, a year or two back you might if only got a grand...we've seen cars like this sell for as little as £500 in recent times. If you wanted a better idea you would need to give more information and some quality colour photographs.
