  1. Just some niggles with the brakes and no time to correct them currently. Has your car got "500" on the rear centre panel? If so I saw it yesterday.
  2. Those manifolds are quite something!
  3. Pot, to pump via a roughly 1" diameter pipe. This is a preformed unit, it can be replaced with general hose with a 90 elbow that's how mine is, parts hyphose. Then a high pressure feed line that runs down from the pump to the rack, these rust at the bottom and leak. Mine was reconditioned by thread and pipe. Then there's a low pressure line from the rack to the pot via a hard tree, again replaced with hose from hyphose. The pump itself has two top mounted I rings that can fail, and a pair of body gaskets. With the NA there's only one circuit and access us easier. Clean it off with WD then pop a piece of board etc under the bay and turn the engine on. Then trace the leaks origin.
  4. Nicely done Russ. I think that's going to look so much the better once complete than before.
  5. Ahhh, was going to say I didn't think they did them. Look much better, the orange makes my foot itch. I've been contemplating them myself but I don't think I need or want that level of adjustment.
  6. That's fine nick. In your case the best thing to do would join the list, but purchase your ticket in the day.
  7. Are those SPL lower arms?
  8. I wonder if the bonnet will close properly without that toaster bolted to it.
  9. Il let you off. I'm sure il make the same mistake whilst sat on the boat on my way to a carrabien coral reef next week, or actually maybe il be a bit busy with other thinks to do :whistling:
  10. I'm fairly sure that fuel pressure I these cars is determined mechanically for the most part with the fuel pressure regulator on the plenum. How are you monitoring fuel pressure? Bearing in mind you haven't had the car long now. Have you preformed the 6 p's? http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/922678/The-6-Ps-Proper-Preparation-Prevents-Piss-Poor-Performancegt.html
  11. Yup. Sorry I hadn't explained that had I. Tickets are purchased directly by yourself either in advance on beaulieu website or you can pay on the gate. The organiser doesn't require us to purchase a stand slot etc, so it keeps this simpler. I will provide the payment link further along the line.
  12. 19 already. Not bad :cowboy:

  14. The engines the most appealing part IMO. I'd be very careful though as it's likely on custom engine mounts, how well they were made....lots of creating has occurred on that car and creating should always ring alarm bells.
  15. I expect a direct short was caused and it's blown a fuse bud. So pop the little buggers out and check them all. The metal disc breaks easy, I did the same a few years ago on a gate curtiousy of my dad's "help", over it... Anyways I purchased another wing mirror swapped the internals shell to shell and spliced the wires. Fiddly job in the door but it wasn't the end of the world.
  16. Stephen replied to Ben M's topic in Events - UK
SEKZ is south east and kent zeds, pretty sure they meet monthly. Could look that up with Zclub.
  17. Oh right, that's cool. Can't wait to get mine back on the road.
  18. :detective: is that a new addition that TT bumper?
  19. Cheers Ben. Il start a proper list when I get an hour free. Already on it Andrew. I've also asked to sort out last years problem of the z33/34s getting seperated.
  20. Up until about 2010 I'd say, I was part of the next age group down. Kev would know me a sixbolt. I'm very busy for the next three, four weeks but after that I'm free. The cars a JDM import manual twin turbo. Mods wise there's a fair list but it's mostly handling mods ATM. Hopefully getting it mapped July time. Fingers crossed.
  21. Had a reply this morning; Hello Stephen, Thank you for your email. Yes that will be fine, can you please email me definite numbers 2 weeks before the event so I can make sure an area of the correct size is reserved for you. Many thanks, Caroline So if we could have a show of hands now il know how many to book for.
  22. That's a lot if red. What size are they? Bearing in mind your cars lower than mine I recon. I needed to roll my arches for my rears to fit.
  23. Ahhhh so your mr Palmer? I used to ride at slades farm so I know kev etc. Don't live far just off turbary park common.
