  1. They didn't want the work apparently lol. Either that or they are used to charging stupid money Doing boat parts. I know someone with a recovered interior that may be for sale locally if that's of any interest?
  2. I also would like a 99 front. However I wants urethane one, which I don't want to pay for, this is a problem lol.
  3. I like this car. The owners a nice guy as well, who name I have forgotten more times than I've been told it. I think it's Keith, is it keith?
  4. They can look great. Stock they are a bit naff looking.
  5. It's difficult isn't it. I think I want new wheels too but I just don't know what.
  6. All subbed up again. Can't send pm's yet though :s receive but not send.
  7. Nitrogen hasn't got any particles... Not sure that's scientifically correct lol.
  8. Most if this has been covered but my opinion. You need something on the front if you wish to retain the skirts. The way the front bumper sweeps under makes it look like it sits about an inch higher than the skirts. This makes it look like something is wrong, like a splitter is missing. So the stillen lip would finish it nicely. I actually don't like your wheels. I just don't feel they suit the car. The white lettering is very 70s and belongs on yank tanks. That's about it really. The rest I like.
  9. Well gaz popped over today to cast his eye on my mishap, after some thinking, trying and coffee he decided to take the caliper off home with him. Fingers crossed. Cheers again gaz. I also checked the system for boost leaks, two tiny ones that I sorted. Then the idle needed checking, I did notice the mot tester struggled a bit with the car and it stalled on him twice. Well removing the yellow idle plug resulted in the engine cutting out, that's why then. All sorted now with a lovely steady and strong idle. Then it was on to the timing which is sitting at 25BTDC which I have to admit I've never changed the settings since the manual conversion. 15btdc is way over on the full expansion of the CAS so I can only assume the neutral switch is either faulty or I didn't connect it sufficiently. The way I wired it up was pin 44 to the neutral switch then to a bolt on the chassis in the tunnel. I assume the ground is poor or the switch faulty. Does anyone know what way the switch works? Should it be a closed cuircuitvat idle or in gear?
  10. Might be better short and long run to have a one piece made mate.
  11. Cheers mate il have a look.
  12. There's some tabs on the rad so I recon there's an electric fan.
  13. They look loads better. Any proper full car shots?
  14. That thing you check to stop speeding tickets ;)
  15. Turbo seals tend to fail on the exhaust seal at which point you get grey/white smoke as it's not been combusted. If the smoke is blue, your hunting a pre combustion oil leak be it oil being sucked into the intake or into the combustion chamber. Have you at any point done a compression or better still a leak down test. For the time taken this could rule out a fair few causes, esp a leak down. If the combustion is good then your sucking it in before the combustion chamber. Do you have excessive oil in the plenum? Or the intercooler pipes? I know you say you replaced a turbo but I don't know if your aware, that the opposing turbo drives the opposing bank. Ie if the passenger turbo was leaking oil into inlet it would be the drivers side that burns oil. I assume from your description your exhaust has no H or X pipe. I don't think however that's your issue. The above suggestion of valve stem seals isn't a bad shout and that may well show on a leak down test.
  16. You need to check the rolling diameters if your planning to use the tyres currently on them, when I looked at it the 350 used a larger rolling radius so the speedo would be wrong.
  17. It would appear they have looped out the intercoolers. Seems like a crap idea to me, maybe in some very specific occasions it could be advantageous but in a road going car I think it's more a bodge than a mod. Unless someone knows better?
  18. Oh ok il left you off. Mines in the bin, you know save weight and that.
  19. Stop the press. Where's your bonnet lining?
  20. That's the face I pull when I drop a socket in the engine bay and it magically disappears.
