Il get it sorted this week, just miffed as I really wanted to get out on track.

Sadly there's some bad news though. There's a tiny issue with one of the new calipers meaning I can't sustain brake pressure. They get progressively worse over time. So essentially I need to sort that before I can drive it. Failed on a minior detail the day before. Gutted doesn't cover it.

We have a pass

Japfest Convoy?
As far as I'm aware no convoy has been arranged mate. I probably should have sorted ac few things but I've got my head up my arse ATM.

It's a bit like that but the opposite at the rear. The front I could get my fist in the arch gap.

Well I'm at the mot place. Few things noted on the mile drive here...firstly there's still an issue with the brakes that needs attention. The alignment settings are as suspected silly. I need way less negative camber at the rear and more low at the front. It looks a touch comical at present.

Japfest Preparatons.
Actually there was a van in the left lane that they were passing but it's parallel with Andrews car so you can see it yet. Howard was indicating left to move back in. However the camera did not catch this...that's what he told me anyway. :whistling:

Phew, sorted. I have to admit though there's still not that rock solid progressive feel you get on a new car.

Yup they are all in there :) looking swish. I think I just realised a mistake. The rear calipers the bleed nipple is facing down. The bleed point is fairly central but I think they should be the other way up. Can I just unbolt and flip them for the bleeding process?

Oh I rolled the arches as well so I can run the proper camber at the rear again.

Got some fiddly crap done today. Just waiting on my helper to bleed the brakes. The mot is booked for 4pm tomorrow, so fingers crossed all goes smoothly. That's me finishing work on time, the brakes bleeding properly and it passing it's mot. This is how it looks right now. Dirty but more complete than it has been for about 4 months.

That looks great from behind.

Swb and lwb handbrake cable
The rear cables are defiantly different lengths. I found this out a few weeks back when I fitted the swb cables to a Lwb and they were about 2-3" too short. Weather it's different forward of that connection I could say but the rear portion is defiantly different.

Cheers Bri. Tried to bleed the brakes this afternoon, I got one of those self bleeding kits. Utter crap, it doesn't seal well enough to retain the vacuum. Old fashioned method tomorrow night it is. This is essentially the only thing now that stands between me and an mot.

Finish up then Thursday/Friday il have a way to mot it. Fingers crossed.

Solid steering column bush
Did mine about two weeks ago. Got it from driftworks.

turbos from manual and automatic
The manual has a slightly larger exhaust housing. More peak flow but a slower spool. Just match what you have as a pair I doubt it makes much odds in real life driving situations.

The exhaust is now on. I've got left; Fit front brakes, including trim dust shield so they fit. Fit tension rods. Swap out upper front arms, seriously these things are a pain so I left the bolts to soak in WD. Bleed brakes, ps and coolant. Check and set ignition timing. Then there's general stuff like under trays etc. Mot alignment. Done. If I get that lot done by Saturday il be very surprised lol. Ive got a job to go to as well.

Power Steering Hose
Hi mate, sorry only just seen this. It was done by Thread and Pipe on the Elliot road industrial estate. Which do you need? I have the hicas solenoid to ps pump one sat here. It was made about 12-18 months ago but I've done a hicas delete so it's redundant. If you need one you can have it.

Wiring help please
That's a touch odd. I thought I had my head round that till you pointed out they contradict each other. It's a nice feature what ever, just like the stock safety boost system but more robust.
