  1. Whoops. I take it you've done it as per the manual now yeah?
  2. I'm hoping you haven't drained it already?
  3. Look it up, some are of the opinion it's perfectly fine to run no bov recirculating or otherwise. I think il be deleting my bov's personally. You would have to read watch and make your own decision though bud.
  4. That may be drive shaft related as the NA ones are weaker. Possibly thinner etc.
  5. To the right person it's worth good money, because it's genuine. I'm guessing it's urethane not fibreglass? Trouble is bud it is not a popular bumper, I can personally see why but that's my opinion. If you want a good price for it, ie what it's worth then you will have it up for sale for a while I expect. If I was you, I would wrap it up safe and store it somewhere dry. Someone somewhen will desperately want a genuine one and will be willing to pay for it. Alternatively If that doesn't happen, when and if you come to sell the car you can sell it with that bumper and sell the twinZs one which will be more popular separately. As a side note there is a chap looking for a full storesk kitted car...maybe worth talking to him.
  6. I brought new ones a few years back and yeah they arnt satin black or even near it it's a funny charcoal colour, a dark metallic grey with a gold fleck to it.
  7. Well I've been working a lot recently, spent a fair portion of last week comuting back and forth from South Wales. However I did manage to fit in some automotive based worked. The cam belt has been changed, all for the better really. It was done fairly recently according to the literature that came with the donor car, despite this the cam belt pulleys were all noisey and the the one on the tensioner had started to part with it's grease. Soon sorted that though. Got some bits holding me up though; 1. An injector which is toast, infinite resintance, dead. So that needs replacing. 2. After finally getting to the bottom of the lower plenum/fuel mystery I have a pair of gromits missing. 3. I can't assemble the upper water pipe as one of the short hoses has a crack, only in the outer but still only a few years old... This is how the block stands ATM, I'm a bit further ahead than this but yeah. Nice little PCV delete. That's about it ATM, lots of little bits to finish up on, I'm getting there though.
  8. I've toyed with that bumper myself a few times as it can look good, some really good looking zeds have them, but I have two issues I just can't get past. The front end is squared off by it making it look a bit blunt, so it doesn't flow and the lack of a swadge line drums in the fact that it isn't original. It's very similar front end in to a 99 but the 99 just fits so much nicer. Also I'm still a little terrified that a fibreglass bumper will end in disaster.
  9. Does it...mines always been liquid gasket on all three engines(oh that's depressing to write lol)
  10. It's a shame you can't borrow that 99 spec bumper baz, looks better. Still a great looking car though, the wheels you've fitted suit it far better.
  11. Is DJCC still an ongoing thing Greg? Thought it had been put to bed?
  12. Sexhibits, Sexhabits, Sexy bits.
  13. Yeah that's about what it is round my way.
  14. Yeah, the winter before last the engine got very damp without my knowledge, when spring came around that was what I was greeted with. The injectors have already been de greened, as I've got the whole lower intake off for the engine swap.
  15. I'm not about most of this week but I'm free all day Saturday mate.
  16. No I mean psyically, can you actually fit an early fuel rail to a late head as that appears to be what's been done.
  17. Well this just got more confusing. The lower plenum from the NA engine, has a 10Y lower plenum. But appears to have early spec turbo injectors, that shouldn't work should it? So confused now. Left is the 30p intake and right is the 10y intake.
  18. I might be interested in this depending on when it is and when the deadline is.
  19. Mistype maybe? Maybe should have been £50?
  20. No no, English was great Hubert. Thanks for that, there's always the chance you would fit without inspection and without fluid leaking you may not realise if you never pushed the car.
  21. What side effects would have been witnessed if they had never been disassembled?
  22. Nice car and fair price.
  23. Liking that bud, very clean and unfussy. I'm glad more people are being bold enough to use that spoiler, it was unpopular for a long time I didn't like it myself orginally but it can look great. Are you going to retain the stock wheels?
  24. Another year older Si....
