I think you will find a well made crimp is actually a better than a soldered join.

"You picked a fine time to leave me, Loose Wheel!" - Mondo's new Zed.
Woah! Big improvement, is it all just cosmetic or is there a performance boost too? One thing though, get yourself a fan shroud buddy. Aftermarket rad without shroud=oem with.

Got load of wood
I take it your not a fan of decking as decking? The trouble is if you try to make something out if it's do distinctive it just looks like you've made something out of decking....personally I love stepping out the back door onto ours it's nice having something wooden for bare feet.

Rear shoe springs and clips
Speak to MJP he may have a good source. I think you will find the hand brake assembly isn't a Z32 specific part, pretty sure skylines are the same. So pattern stuff may be available.

Any available japfest tickets
I believe all tickets stand tickets are now allocated. It's worth keeping your eyes open as there are often drop outs, happened to me last year. The thread is here. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?179818-Japfest-2015-Deadline-for-ticket-payments-is-Wednesday-18th-March/page5&highlight=Japfest It's worth contacting 370ad as I would assume anyone dropping out will notify him. Your not the only one looking for tickets though I'm afraid.

What did you do to your zed today?
Good good. Always worth a quick flick through the FSM before doing anything for the first time. Saves little mishaps. Should take that advice myself lol.

do or can we run without recurculation valve things?
Look it up, some are of the opinion it's perfectly fine to run no bov recirculating or otherwise. I think il be deleting my bov's personally. You would have to read watch and make your own decision though bud.

Na tt rear hubs and rear upright
That may be drive shaft related as the NA ones are weaker. Possibly thinner etc.

how much should i be asking for this?
To the right person it's worth good money, because it's genuine. I'm guessing it's urethane not fibreglass? Trouble is bud it is not a popular bumper, I can personally see why but that's my opinion. If you want a good price for it, ie what it's worth then you will have it up for sale for a while I expect. If I was you, I would wrap it up safe and store it somewhere dry. Someone somewhen will desperately want a genuine one and will be willing to pay for it. Alternatively If that doesn't happen, when and if you come to sell the car you can sell it with that bumper and sell the twinZs one which will be more popular separately. As a side note there is a chap looking for a full storesk kitted car...maybe worth talking to him.

Project Dittohead Red
Well I've been working a lot recently, spent a fair portion of last week comuting back and forth from South Wales. However I did manage to fit in some automotive based worked. The cam belt has been changed, all for the better really. It was done fairly recently according to the literature that came with the donor car, despite this the cam belt pulleys were all noisey and the the one on the tensioner had started to part with it's grease. Soon sorted that though. Got some bits holding me up though; 1. An injector which is toast, infinite resintance, dead. So that needs replacing. 2. After finally getting to the bottom of the lower plenum/fuel mystery I have a pair of gromits missing. 3. I can't assemble the upper water pipe as one of the short hoses has a crack, only in the outer but still only a few years old... This is how the block stands ATM, I'm a bit further ahead than this but yeah. Nice little PCV delete. That's about it ATM, lots of little bits to finish up on, I'm getting there though.

What did you do to your zed today?
I've toyed with that bumper myself a few times as it can look good, some really good looking zeds have them, but I have two issues I just can't get past. The front end is squared off by it making it look a bit blunt, so it doesn't flow and the lack of a swadge line drums in the fact that it isn't original. It's very similar front end in to a 99 but the 99 just fits so much nicer. Also I'm still a little terrified that a fibreglass bumper will end in disaster.

upper front water pipe sealing ring
Does it...mines always been liquid gasket on all three engines(oh that's depressing to write lol)

What did you do to your zed today?
It's a shame you can't borrow that 99 spec bumper baz, looks better. Still a great looking car though, the wheels you've fitted suit it far better.
