Badgers have changed
I'm disgusted with myself. I can't believe I actually clicked that. Still, bizarre *and* unfunny: quite an achievement I hope you'll agree.

bodyshop - work in progress
B, and as small as you can get away with.

"WOT MORE BLING"
LOL. I just checked out your ride. Really nice car but I'm surprised you can see out of the front window past all those bells and whistles. It's like the starship Enterprise in there. Good job though.

Possibly selling up.
That is a lovely looking car, but I agree with Si. She's not worth your education. You can always replace her when you've got your degree and are earning a decent salary again.

At least you had a car. I had the worlds crappiest bicycle... and still managed to rack up £13k debts over 5 years.

Should i buy this, i need to be quick
Good job. I reckon time will prove you've done the right thing here. Plenty more zeds out there.

Should i buy this, i need to be quick
Tell you what mate, you can have mine, and I'll buy Martin's.

They're pretty small, but sometimes it is quite useful to be able to carry more than one other person. You wouldn't want to drive 200 miles like it though. For short journeys it's OK. OTOH you could get a daily runabout and have the shorty for weekends. TBH I reckon MartinFAs car is *gone*, or at least will be very shortly, but for 6k you can't go wrong (yeah, yeah I know it's twice as much as the other one, but you're better off spending more money on a decent example than less on a crappy one)... and it's a manual TT. I'm even tempted myself even though I've already got a manual TT.

Yep, got to agree. For an NA as well that sounds like a lot of £££s. And that spoiler is an aberration.

NZR Skyline Drifter
Ditto. That's unbelievable. I'd be scared to death of trashing my car if I tried that. You just know it'd end up going off the side of the track when it hit the bend rather than gracefully sliding round it.

Who do I need to talk to....?
Cheers guys, I'll do that. Yes, it is kind of a hacker thing but I don't know what I was thinking at the time because I hate both l33t and text speak (I'm a professhunal doncha know)... it was probably just down to a total imagination failure when I registered. Cheers, Bart

Who do I need to talk to....?
If I want to change my user ID? m0n1xX3r is a really awful user ID, and I'd much rather use something a bit more closely related to my real name. Thanks, Bart

how may subscribed members acually use the forums
Well, apparently I post on average 1.88 times per day, so I guess I'm a fairly regular user. Although there was a couple of months sometime after I joined where I didn't say that much, up until paying my subscription when I actually bought my zed. Must admit that I read more than I post though. I do like it on here, some of the threads are rubbish, but you're going to get that anywhere. Generally I'd say the banter's pretty good, and it's nice that it's not just about the cars. I mean don't get me wrong, I love my zed, but I can't talk about it endlessly and wouldn't want to.

The unthinkable!
Mate, that is very gutting. Yes I have had that happen, although fortunately in my case it was just because the alarm was malfunctioning. Sorry to hear it bud. On the plus side the alarm going off probably scared the vandals off before they did any more damage. Without it they might have decided to start having a go at the bodywork or something as well.

something sad
There's a lot of truth in that. Makes you realise it's worth being careful whilst you're driving as well: not worth your life, or somebody else's, just to get somewhere on time, or gain a few seconds, or engage in a pissing contest with a BMW driver just because he's got up your nose.

Now thats a big engine LOL
Like I said, I think it's down to fuel requirements. Basically this thing is supposed to be a supercar that a normal-sized human being can fit into in comfort, or without needing to know yoga, and that runs on normal unleaded petrol. I don't know, but I'll bet that 2.6L Jap engine you're talking about was running with uber-high octane fuel to avoid blowing up due to knocking.

Now thats a big engine LOL
I've got a feeling, although I might be wrong about this and it might be the Daimler-Chrysler thing (can't remember what it's called), that this baby doesn't run excessively high compression, which means it can safely run on standard unleaded petrol without knocking. Somebody out there who knows more than me might be able to speak with a bit more authority though.

is us hp greater than uk hp
Yeah, what the others said: US BHP is less than UK, but nevertheless whilst that car isn't going to be as fast as Mac's it's still going to be *very* quick, and it is absolutely gorgeous... and I want it! Black with blue flip.... mmmm.

Now thats a big engine LOL
Yeah, I'll second that. S'probably OK if you don't boot it too much... or then again maybe not.

Long distance funeral
Alan, that's going to hurt no matter how you feel about him. My dad nearly died a few years back, and at the time we really didn't get on at all, but whilst he was in hospital I realised that if he did die I'd be devastated. Can understand how you feel. Thoughts are with you mate.

How come you're only showing up as a registered user? (If it's not rude to ask anyway.)

Wtf??????????
Nah, I think it's meant to be Mohammed Al Fayed, but don't quote me on that. Some bizarre stuff out there on the 'net.

Badgers have changed
Cheers for the link. Have to say I agree with Si: just a complete load of drivel.

I've just discovered GT 4....
Nope, I haven't played it at all. :)
