All of that said: I should have asked on here first. Very foolish of me.

Momo Millienium Evo steering wheel...
Yeah, I know. However, (i) it also doesn't say it's a (very poor) replica, and (ii) he's used the Momo logo, in such a way as to (I think) constitute trying to pass it off as the real thing. Think I'm going to have a chat to my local trading standards office. Cheers, Bart

Momo Millienium Evo steering wheel...
Does anyone have a high-resolution pic of this wheel they can post up please? I've just bought what I thought was one of these off of eBay only to find that it looks kind of cheap and crap. Would like to compare with the real thing just to be sure. I bought: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8009085148&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1#ebayphotohosting Now feeling slightly silly. The picture in the ad is clearly the real thing, if you cross-check with the one on GetGreddy.co.uk, but whereas I thought I was getting a real bargain, I think in fact I've just been stiffed. Just want to be absolutely sure it's not genuine though (put it like this, if it was I'd be well annoyed at having spent £180 on it). Thanks, Bart

Live for speed?
Looks like I can't log into anything: getting the "guest info" problem everywhere. Think it might be something to do with Norton Internet Security - cursed thing. Will have a look at it tomorrow. For now am going to go and do something less stressful like repeatedly slam my head in the fridge door or something.

Live for speed?
Just tried ##300zx.co.uk## again out of curiosity, and am now getting a different error message: Host has a different game code. One day I will actually get to play this game against another human being. :)

New bling on ebay
Hmm... I'm really not so sure about that. Would depend on your interior, and even then... eeuuww. Really not too sure.

Replacement for dash clock
HKS. Not sure of any details beyond that. It's parked outside at the moment so I might wander out of the office a bit later for a look.

Vented bonnets and water
You could try getting a car cover, which would keep most of the water out when parked - Concept Z Performance do one specific for the Z (make sure you get the right size though). Only problem is if you've got an aftermarket spoiler or wide-arch kit then it obviously won't fit. Cheers, Bart

Replacement for dash clock
Interesting idea. My turbo timer is currently located on the underside of the binnacle to the left of the steering wheel. It's fine but being a bit on the tall side I do tend to catch my knee on it quite often when getting in. Only thing is I don't think my timer would look so clever where the clock is because it's not quite the right size (I think there would be gaps above/below), but it's something to bear in mind. The clock is one of the two features about the Z interior I'm not really such a fan of (it's a bit naff looking), with the other being the cheapo circa 1985 bargain-basement Ford Fiesta indicator stalk which feels like you're going to snap it off.

Thanks Andy, you have a PM.

Replacement for dash clock
Hi all, My stock dash clock seems to be slowly losing the plot. It tells the correct time for a while, but then every now and again seems to just pick a time at random, until I set it to the correct time again. Apparently it was a bit dodgy when I got the car as the dealer told me it wasn't working at all, so he fitted a replacement (which also didn't work). In the end he plugged the original back in, only to find that it had started working. Now, as I say, it's playing up for me. So, the question is, are there any decent after-market alternatives available? One that showed AM and PM (or better yet uses 24 hour time) would be good. Thanks, Bart

Yep, the Rallycross is great fun. Try the XR GT TURBO as well (blatantly a Mk III Supra Turbo)... talk about a lively back end. Possibly worthy of the accolade of most unforgiving virtual car in the world... ever. One tiny mistake and you've completely lost it.

Happy birthday dude.

Uncontrollable butt
Yeah, I'd recommend the Asda/other supermarket of choice carpark method of training. As long as you don't go for one of those ones that's full of trees, bollards, and other such miscellaneous nonsense, which can obviously put a bit of a crimp in your day (not to mention your rear wings, alloys etc).

Hi Rich, Password is fine. If I type in something else it tells me I'm entering the wrong password, but even if I enter the right password I'm getting that guest info error. I love technology... when it works. :-) Cheers, Bart
