  1. Lots of BS surrounding the 300 mate. Any questions just yell out. I have loads of links to various Buying advice, tech advice, model differences etc etc. Basically you need LWB if you want back seats. you can have them in UK TT model, or JDM NA or TT. Budget will be a factor on condition and age if car you are after.
  2. You following me around?!
  3. You could spray it. or even use fine sandpaper to scuff and dull the surface.
  4. Swore lots as I managed to blow 2 fuses by being an idiot and rushing a job as it was getting dark. Also bust my hazard switch doing same job. Ended up 2 steps back from where I started. Car is sat in garage with half the dash out.
  5. Don't know exact numbers, but it'll be close to 70% front, 30% rear.
  6. I keep an eye on your various threads as I still intend to buy the stuff off you for a VH conversion next year.
  7. I've got a 95 M reg too. On a classic policy with limited mileage. £220. That's through Livingstones Warman brokers.
  8. I'm assuming you tried all the brokers and not just the usual high Street robbers.
  9. I costed up importing a good VH engine. Was gonna be less than £1500 inc taxes. Eric at Performance VH will.source you one.
  10. VH45DE - swap kits available from PerformanceVH in the US. Including adapter plate to use standard 5 speed box. No firewall cutting needed. Bonnet needs a hump or a custom manifold. LSx - pretty much everything will need to be custom. Chevy 350 - as above. Couple.of good forums - HybridZ and NissanV8
  11. Zedworld do them. Or get one of the people who break cars here to post you one over. I'm.sure someone would do you a good sale or return deal.
  12. Me and some friends I was at Maersk with who still keep in touch were talking yesterday about it. Thoughts are with all them and their families and hope they all came through it ok.
  13. Don't post the pics. it can cause complications for you if the other party fight it. Insurance will want date, time, witnesses, make/model/colour of other car. Other drivers name, address insurance company. Weather conditions, traffic conditions, description of parking place.
  14. Shoreside. Local cops removed the body and took statments and pics etc. Agent arranged for a couple of local boys to come in and clean up the mess as best as possible. I had Filipino crew, and they refused to do it, hence the local boys.
  15. Welcome. Upload pics to a Photobucket account, and then copy adn paste the code here.
  16. Aye, killed instantly - it was a mostly empty hold.
  17. I've sailed on 3 of her sister ships - Maersk Avon, Arun, and Ahram. Though these 3 were not fitted with cranes. 155m long, and with 1099 TEU capacity. Just little feeder ships. Hence the coastal runs they were on. Bin Qasim is a hellhole. My experience is somewhat tainted by the shitstorm when a stevadore fell from a hatch coaming into the hold.
  18. 9 years on containerships for Maersk from Cadet through to Chief Officer. Had the misfortune of visiting Djibouti on a few occasions. Hateful port. (I never got ashore, so can't comment on the country/city as a whole. But yeah, things like not representing the true role of a pilot annoys the hell out of me. It is vaguely possible that he had a pilot exemption I suppose, but highly unlikely. The ship wasn't visiting regularly enough for him to get a PEC.
  19. I was working for Maersk when the Alabama was hijacked and all this took place. The fallout from it was immense. Really must get around to seeing this, but I'm always weary of ship related movies as it'll piss me off if things aren't accurate.
  20. Yeah, Momo Race. I just can't get used to it. The grip feels wrong, and it feels too small for the car.
  21. That first one Si is the same as mine. Hateful thing
  22. Not 100% sure, as it was fitted to the car when I bought it. I'm on the look out for a 4 spoke OEM wheel at the moment to compare it to.
  23. Momo Race: Personally I hate it, as I think it's too small. I'm quite tall, so can't actually see the top of the speedo when in my best driving position.
  24. Looks good Ste. Much better look than your Greddy nose. It's the lip I'll be going for once I get the suspension sorted, and a few other bits n bobs.
