Do Z1 motorsports ship to the uk?
Thinking of getting a kaminari wing off them, do they ship at reasonable rates?

Got a new car today
Used to have a right wee beast of a prelude (Was the earlier bb4 version). Pushing 230bhp and, for a honda, was a very torquey rocket. Plenty quicker than any of the Type R's (had a crack against the whole family). Had no problems playing around with scoobs! But the later preludes have it over the early models looks-wise. Check out some of the Type S's for styling tips, some look drop dead gorgeous! Good choice in car Janus!!

and they aren't willing for courier company to pick up from their warehouse they say it has to be sent from a UK agent. I'm having trouble paying too as they say it must be paid through a US registered card. The customer service is royally sh*t too.

Basically I have found a company that supply a spoiler I want, but they won't ship internationally - so is there anybody based in the US who I could send it to then it could be shipped to me in the UK?

twin or single
single sounds better by a small margin, but twin looks better overall. So unless you're going for a single side exit, probably twin would be the better choice. Best for looks I've seen is twin round-rectangles one either side.

What car security do you have
None! Frankly if somebody is going to steal your car, they are going to get it one way or the other - if they can't get it started towing is the next best deal. A key and lock is as much of a deterrent as it's worth having in my eyes for the electrical nightmares you can face a few years down the line. I've had to remove 2 full alarm systems after they c*cked up cars running.

I was incorrect! My apologies.. Newera told me they had gone bust months ago! I have just called and tried my hardest at japanese.. (well google translate did). Looks like it IS possible for me to get it straight from Japan! Just waiting for shipping/purchase quote.. oh boy I hope it won't be more than the USA quote. 560 pounds was pushing it!

what sort of method would you use to create one from scratch? Without any specialist tools ideally

Car.Mad ... do you think it's feesible to make one from scratch since it's a simpleish shape? You have some knowhow on the subject and im a complete newbie to it - but am handy with diy etc. Thinking ductaping the boot and waxing. forming the shape with thin alu strips then filling the rough shape with shaping foam and cutting/sanding to as close as I can get, then using that as a base to create the real master?

Cheap Ganador Mirrors

And the exchange rate is good - so I go to order.. Veilside USA has shut down!! Only 2 months ago I could've got the last one but didn't have the do-ray-me. Utterly gutted, it's now going to be impossible to get hold of one for any amount of cash and no companies in the uk seem prepared to make me a custom spoiler

What to do with the Zed?
Sell it and buy one that's not a money pit! Then mod it. Another invaluable hint is this: Dont buy a mod unless it's 100% what you WANT, never get something because it'll do and the good parts hard to find/ too expensive.

Always takes 2 times to start - want to fix this weekend
Right come into some money from selling needless stuff so want to get all my cars niggles sorted this coming weeks! The single most annoying 'feature' is that it always, but always takes 2 times to start. In cold weather this can drop to around 10 times or more. Symptoms: Starter motor whirs, engine makes no attempt to start regardless of how long it's left to whir. Second or third time it goes straight away. Understood possible issues: Series 1 PTU faulty, Faulty starter motor teeth, at the worst ground down flywheel guide ring teeth, Loose starter motor The battery was replaced recently so not that. The starter motor is on dead tight and the connections to the motor are fine. Aside from the above possibilites could it be anything else? The fact it's distinctly worse in winter would suggest wiring or electrical to me (i recall car circutry issues in the past which were weather dependant, cracks in solder when either heated or cooled excessively). Please tell me as many possible fixes as you can and I'll aim to have it resolved within next week. thanks
