  1. Hey dude, Would you be able to mod one of your fg stock-style spoilers to not have a rear brake light section? So just a flat lip along the top? If yeah, how much bud?
  2. Acctually, look up new mustang wheels, they are 5x114.3 I think and have some nice deep dish examples for relatively cheap once imported from stateside!
  3. best bet is to search ebay my friend. The wheels you are after are work equips, they don't come up very often and aren't cheap. Another alternative is Impul RS which is v. similar.
  4. 9.5 width et20-22 is a very nice fitment all round. There's no 'best' unfortunately, the benefits of running 'flush wheels' are far overshadowed by running good wide tyres (it's rare flush wheels are fitted with suitably wide tyres as the arches would need work once the car was lowered. run 255 on the back, then run 275 on the back on the same width wheel and there's a world of difference in grip, same with 235/255 up front.
  5. Anybody running the double-slotted nose grill on their Z? Fancy sharing some pics??
  6. Good shout, lowering helps a bunch - but 17" are a real nice fit on the Z despite everybody and their dog going for 18's and above these days
  7. ^ My apologies, I was thinking of a single slot one from US.. KingZ or something? My bad :)
  8. I know the calipers up front are hellish wide, but is the overall track/width the same at the front and the rear? Reason is I got a set of 17x8/9 unknown ET at the moment, concave rears, straight fronts with more backspace for caliper clearance. But I've sourced another pair of 17x9 with what looks to be same offset (they look identical from the front, concave at same angle, just hoping theres not a difference in backspacing). Assuming they cleared calipers (if not I'd run 10mm spacers all round) would they come out to the same point all the way round?
  9. The real version of it is abflug Twinz doesn't have the raised centre
  10. Theres an anglia on ebay with a VG30DETT
  11. Sorry to piss on yer chips lads, 6 spokes are clearly nicer :p
  12. Not to mention the rate that fuel went up in comparison to all the others is the killer.
  13. Also it hasn't been as even here in the highlands, petrol is 1.42 a litre for low quality (93 oct), have to travel circa 30 miles to get 99 octane so there's further expense as it's not the same direction as my work for example. Food has gone up considerably in general, but whereas we used to just have a hugely overpriced coop, we now have a local tesco/lidl which has fought prices down massively from the coop (which somehow is still in business), so it's not that noticable. Houses have gone up for sure - but then that's not really comparable as it's a one-off purchase, and much like a car you may get a good bargain, you may pay the usual rate etc. Electricity bills have definitely gone up though that's a bummer. But fuel takes up a massive portion of my monthly earnings compared to what it used to.
  14. Petrol is consumed at a much faster rate than bread, unless you're very fat.
  15. That's what I got, the single exit Kaki with Kaki 3" test pipes. Sounds very nice for the Z.
  16. It's surprising how nice a silent exhaust is you know. Dad's got a couple of soarers and they are so lush to drive! You can hear the engine at full chat but nothing through the exhaust.. it's very pleasant. I'm getting older I know but I'm starting to associate loud exhausts with poor drivers and view them as a complete nuisance so on a bit of a 50/50 if I'm going to keep mine..
  17. Sweet dude! Got your starter motor today so hopefully will have the car MOT'able in the next fortnight and then the fun starts!! Might wait until this bout of snow stops though
  18. Nice little story - I had a Sega Saturn boxed from new, everything inside as brand new all wrapped etc. box had no creases or anything. Kept it for years. Then I get home one day last year and my mother had been doing some spring cleaning. 'Where's my Saturn' I asked.. 'It's in the shed, I threw the box away as it was rubbish'..... !!!
  19. Ah - I didnt spot the reserve. I paid 1500 for mine and I thought that was dirt cheap! Mind you I did get a 12 month MOT
  20. Check this guys, I think it was just listed today as I aint seen it before http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300ZX-Twin-Turbo-Manual-/330537277665?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4cf58e98e1 stupidly cheap for a tt manual even without an mot :o and in the best colour possible, the same as mine
  21. What's that sunburst yellow colour? Not the pale crap yellow you sometimes see but the pearlescent deep one.
  22. They're nice, but offsets aren't great and you'd wanna run the dishy rears all round - so far I've not had any company email me back with a quote for a set of 4 wides. You get em in matt-black and silver/polished lip. Sadly 18" are pathetic widths/offsets. Best bet is some varrstoen 222's 18x9.5 et22 all round or 18x9.5 and 18x10 on rear if you like staggered. By FAR the best te37 style ever made. They cost 1000 pounds (as long as you dont buy them from rare rims!!). I fancy a set myself
